God. You are all irritating. 25 yards. Is 75 feet. There is 150 feet in a 50. And longcourse there's 165 feet. Thats not a bog difference. The difference is the turn. Which drops like 2 seconds depending on your level of swimming. Olympians use there walls like crazy. For me. I go a :49.8 in my 100 free SC. LC I go a :54.3. Average person is :08 per 100.

First of all. Look up saintxaviar highschool. In Kentucky. They broke the wod record at our highschool state. They all held 18.5's. I was in the 200 free relay. I went a 21.9 I felt slow. This is a fast team. Florida state is faster.

@youbetzler Just to let you know Popov actually did a 21.64 for 50 meter freestyle WITH shaving. He is, however, still the god of freestyle sprinting. Although I love Cielo's stroke. Tom Jager will will also remain as one of the great freestyle sprinters, first man under 22 after all. However, fair enough with all these sprinters, Ian Thorpe will forever be the master of swimming freestyle overall.
