Hey mate just asking about the Blue Velvets, where are they on your guitar and what how does it sound. Is it heavy, clean? Thinking about putting one in my Strat. Thanks
"Bad habits and a sloppy style" There's one in every crowd!!!! Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. Nice job on the lesson man. Keep up the good work. Your style is just fine.
You rock kid! Nice pace for me to learn it. You don't screw around and talk about it. really the better instructional video I've seen.! Thanks and thanks to Stevie! RIP brother!
Absolutely brilliant video! You are doing a fine service to the man himself by teaching others how to play Stevie's songs.
One point that I would ask of you is whether you can do a similar instructional video on another SRV classic, 'Life Without You'? I haven't seen any others out there and you would be perfect to teach it.
I could try that one. I haven't played it in a really long time, so I'll need a refresher. But I'll be sure to tackle that one sometime soon my friend.
We're planning to do a cover of it (also with a violin in it) for a music competition soon and it would be immensely helpful to have it fully explained from someone with such a talent for playing Stevie's music.
You played a little fill at 0:20-0:21 you didn't include in the lesson lol.
I think it's 2s3s2 on the B string, then 2nd fret on the D string. Followed by the open G and B strings Hammer on first fret for both and then the open top E?
very nice, theres one thing you did in there that Ive always wanted to know. its at ~2:50, with the B7 chord. SRV did that a lot, Im just wondering whats the picking pattern when he did that B7 arpeggio
Thanks, great lesson. Danny "the challenged guitar player"

It's hard to explain via text, but if you know rhythms, it's:
Tri - let, tri p let, three, (rest on four)
D U D U D U [D= down pick, U = up pick]
b d# b a d# f# [arpeggiated note order of the B7]
I'm doing this without a guitar reference, so sorry if it's wrong. I tried! :-)
