As much as I love Randy Rhoads' guitar playing, I think he is not being entirely truthful when he said that Queen (and specifically, Brian May) were not an influence. I can clearly hear a few passages in some Quiet Riot songs that are note-for-note copies of a few Brian May solos. One example is PICKING UP THE PIECES which has a line that is lifted directly from Queen's LIAR. Check it out for yourself.
Yeah, there were quite a few of the Ozzy things which turned out to be recycled from the Quiet Riot catalog. I remember reading in a guitar magazine a couple years after Randy left, where Kevin went through a list of Ozzy songs that were derived from what Randy played in Quiet Riot.
