Should I can have the permission to use your video ?

How can I get to a copy of it ? Or download it ?

thanks ! And thanks again !

  • actually ye, we got to meet Luca BENITA today and it was just so awfull to hear his personal story 'n other ppl's stories,i just felt very ashamed and i was like,r u even serious,,u know our gov is hepocrate which says to not hire "undocumented" folks and then lets these big companies to abuse these innocent people who have nothing but some goalz to achieve....GO FOLKS,WE R WITH U,,WHOLE NATION IS WITH U,,,WE WILL FIGHT TOGETHER.

  • This is a product of USA's Canibalistic Capitalism!

TOGETHER WE CAN ALL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

    GET ACTIVE NOW!

    Watch the movie ZIETGEIST

  • That's right folks, guess who puts food on the Minutemens table each night... so to speak.

  • The exploitation is pervasive and distributed,

we can look to these poor workers and notice the

extreme exploitation, but don't let that deceive

us of the exploitation that we all face. After all,

if we were not exploited as well then we would

put an end to the plight of these farm workers

in the blink of an eye at our whim. The only

reason that this doesn't happen is that we are

bound and trapped in this system of reoccurrence

in which we must comply or risk our own well-being.

  • No, how could it be?!

You like every normal citizen in Mexico, Canada and the USA had no possibility to take part or decide in the NAFTA process.

Why, because it was undemocratilly planend, endorsed, and executed by the political and business elites of USA, Mexico and Canada.

And it was them, who profited. Not you nor a mexican campesino.

You should blame the ones responible for the whole mess, not the ones stuck in the mess with you

  • Right... but you fail to put things into perspective; just because that small minority (thousands being small in a country of millions) celebrated a deal that would benefit them, it doesn't mean the larger, poorer majority with little power and resources wanted NAFTA. You fail to look at thing very realistically. And NEVER blame the mexicans for lowering wages. Companies and NAFTA have done that. It's hard to not take any job you can when the other option is starvation.

  • we should let them come legally and more easily

That way they are payed fairly. We might have to work harder and better to compete with them but who can criticize that?

  • I wouldn't want to see anyone, legal or illegal, worked to death like these people are. It really is sad.

  • I had the amazing opportunity to see the people of the CIW and SFA work in person and it was an absolute inspiration to see what these people do to help the farmworkers of FL. How dare you insist they do this for personal profit. I watch them sacrifice food, sleep, and comfort to make this world a better place, and what have you done? Nothing. So shut up and do some good before you try to slander their heartwarming success.

  • Honestly, How do you know what tomatoes being harvested on that particular day are the one actually bought by Mcdonalds? Also, Doesn't Mcdonalds buy all of their tomatoes from Tomato Repacker/Distributors throughout the US? Who monitors those companies?

  • For your information, I feel that your statements are extremely uneducated. Before you spout off your cliche sentences about immigration, please research why they are forced to come here, and the reason all boils down to us: political dumping and NAFTA. Due to NAFTA, we forced millions of Mexican farmers out of business and starving, so instead of dying, they go out and try to save their families. You should be very ashamed.

  • Wow you jerk. You have no idea how much we have worked. No intention for making money, but for making a change for what is ethical. People who sit back and make comments such as yours is part of why things never change. As a full time student, I have given up a large amount of my time to do all that I could, no money ever received.

  • The deal struck with McDonalds is that the penny goes directly to the tomato pickers. Directly.

CIW is answerable directly to the tomato pickers, and all it's staff makes minimum wage. Many are volunteers.

CIW makes no money off of the deal.

Before criticizing those who are working actively for social change, please do your homework.

  • a corporation is by law oblidged to prioritize it's investors over it's employees, even over customers. To what extent are employees and investors interests congruent? Financially, they're diametrically opposed. If wages are low and labor is spread thin stock can remain high. Business journals have jargon like "labor costs" and "human capital" to cover concepts like this. Immigrants don't keep wages down. Bosses do. Know your enemy.

  • Farmworkers were purposely excluded from the basic rights other American workers enjoy through the 1935 National Labor Relations Act, and that happened decades before the farmworker population ceased to be majority African-American.

But don't let facts get in the way of your anti-immigrant hysteria.

  • What's amazing to me about recent comments is the sheer ignorance they demonstrate about farm labor, and the extent to which some people freak out with the kneejerk "illegal immigration" reaction whenever they see brown skin.

The deplorable and inhumane working conditions faced by the millions of men and women who break their backs everyday to put food on your table PREDATE the fact that the majority of this workforce happens to be comprised of economic refugees from Mesoamerica and Haiti.

  • The problem is not with the PEOPLE whose kids are at home starving, and are trying their best to survive. The problem is with buisinesses that insist on offering pathetic wages and benefits to their workers (legal or otherwise).

  • i'll be there both days

  • What a testament to the workers whose work brings food to our tables! We owe them much more than they ever get.

  • See you in Chicago!

  • Now that our "President" is building the "Great Wall of China" between the US and Mexico, who will do the work that no other "American" wants? I wish luck to ciw in there efforts.

  • Best wishes and solidarity to your campaign from friends in Nottingham, England.

  • oh, the demo, right.

    i rember working with tomatoes...

theyare acidic and you only haVE TO pick a few off the vine before your hands start discolouring...the fruit is very discolouring anyway, especially the stems. plus what the other movie says, burgers are addictive coz of the sugar...fast food is a no brainer-just looking at the people eating that sheetll tell u that.

  • chicago 13.4...

    whats a;; that about then?

  • Excellent. I wish U/tube had more videos like this one

  • excelente video...

  • very provocative. see you in Chicago April 13th!
