I watched Korla Pandit when I was four years old too...only it was in 1949 , in black and white tv and he played on tv out of Kansas City , Kansas. He was fabulous!

AND exotic....mesmerizing ....too

Yes. And it appears anything I remember seeing in LA no one here in Texas has hardly heard of.

I remember getting close to the TV as it was new and Korla was so real to me, like he was there.

It's been years later that I found these wonderful Youtubes to bring the memories back.

I watched this on our black and white back when I was around 4 years old in Los Angeles. Probably around 1956.

I thought he was a KCOP guy... was he syndicated? I remember he finally spoke during some sort of anniversary special a few years ago.
