Gameplay Wise FF7 had the best engine, FF8 though was epic, 10 was good only cause Blitzball, which was fun to play. 11 or X2 was a Slutty Lesbian Themed Game 12 the Gameplay was terrible the battle engine was stolen from breath of Fire Dragon Quarter. I own 13 and it's also terrible, virtually no towns to shop everything is from crappy vendors and the story sounds like something the Illuminati would do. The Battle System is Automated basically for the first 12 hours of playing. The Story is ok.
BTW Spirits within Final Fantasy the Movie was Completely Different than the Games...I remember it being a Little Dissapointed about it. But than again I felt the same way when Final Fantasy 9 came out what the fuck is this shit, They lie this is some Kingdom of Hearts Disney bullshit...Squaresoft would not Release this Piece of Shit of a Game. Actually Departed has to be one of the most confusing Mafia/Cop Movies I've ever seen. They're was like 2 Matt Damons. I couldn't tell them apart until the last 10 minutes of the movie and then the plot just was shot to hell at that point they ought to put a bullet in the writer of that dribble. I disagree with Final Fantasy The Spirits Within. Although it is true that the plot have nothing to do with the game, the plot is verry interesting, good cast and GCI. It is a verry good movie, and i advise you to watch it again without thinking it as a final fantasy movie
let me just say that the final fantasy movie was not even near as bad as one of the Uwe Boll ones. i would rather watch all these movies back to back than rather having to sit though films like BloodRayne, Alone in the Dark or Postal.
P.S FFX story was one of the best iv seen from the franchise.

Doom is an over-the-top game that isn't suppose to make sense. There is absolutely NO WAY that a real Doom game (Not Doom 3) could be made into a movie. I understand that the movie wanted to be closer to the third game. Yeah... choose the crappiest game in the series to base your movie on. And even then, it was completely different. I won't lie, I liked Doom as an action movie. But not as a Doom movie. I think they should have named it something else rather than slapping "Doom" on it.

This about sums it up. What these movie directors don't understand is that the entire point of a video game movie is to target the video game fans. If the director knows nothing about the game, then he/she isn't going to be able to make a movie out of it.

Doom is an over-the-top game that isn't suppose to make sense. There is absolutely NO WAY that a real Doom game (Not Doom 3) could be made into a movie. I understand that the movie wanted to be closer to the third game. Yeah... choose the crappiest game in the series to base your movie on. And even then, it was completely different. I won't lie, I liked Doom as an action movie. But not as a Doom movie. I think they should have named it something else rather than slapping "Doom" on it.

I must disagree with the 5.th and the 4.th , Hitman wasn't such a bad movie , and not even a bad game (well not in our modern time) . Doom(movie) is made from doom 3 , not the 1990' version.
if you played the game you will like the movie , or at least understand it better and get a feeling.

This about sums it up. What these movie directors don't understand is that the entire point of a video game movie is to target the video game fans. If the director knows nothing about the game, then he/she isn't going to be able to make a movie out of it.
Video game movies should be based off of the video game, not other movies. It doesn't have to make sense to normal movie fans, it's not for them.

I mean Hitman actually did have some high-profile actors, but then you point out someone like the Rock? The most mainstream of actors.
