gosh guys, yes he's a very faulty vessel, for sure. what's with the judgement tone though? what if there is God behind him and in some of the things he does? wouldn't that mean you're judging God as being satan? just saying be careful what you condemn. and Chris isn't a fluke, that's for sure. different wells meaning different places where the Spirit is moving. it's one God but His presence isn't the same everywhere. different places give different things, same God. don't be so quick to judge.

These signs and wonders that have hit the church, what did Jesus say to those who sought him only to see a miracle? This is my whole point about all of this! Jesus is NOT getting the glory and those who are getting "saveed" are doing so in spite of the lack of the gospel getting preached not becasue of it. It is not getting preached at all. Not one word of repentence, not one word of Jesus saving, only about miracles, and that is Idolatry.
You're right about there not being enough preaching of the word. But that is why we still go to our own churches and have our daily devotions. Jesus is getting the glory out of this and people that are getting saved are also getting plugged into churchs. This is not to be a substitute for church. Have you been to the revival? I have. If you haven't been to it you shouldn't say anything. I'm sure there are people there only to see a miracle. But God is still doing the miracles none the less.
But they are realizing God is real. I understand that they aren't hearing the gospel here but it encourages them to seek out the word of God because they now realize God IS real. It's not a perfect thing but that's because humans are involved. The only perfect thing that happened where humans were involved was the writing of scripture. Everything else will fall short until Jesus comes back. You can't pick at everything that isn't exactly right. In doing so we discourage people from Gods touch.

That is why the gospel needs to be preched at these revivals. Oh and by the way even Satan knows God is real you don't see him seeking after Him do you?
But people are getting saved, man. You can't overlook that. They need to hear the word of God and that is why at the revival there is preaching of the word in the morning sessions. They also have discipleship teams there. There should be more preaching. I won't deny that I see your point as well but there needs to be evidence. That is how the Gospel was first spread. "Not just in word but in power" as Paul said. I see your concern and it's valid. But don't criticize what God is doing 2 harshly.
They are getting saved in spite of the message not because of it. So I admonishing those leaders who don't preach the Gospel in it's entirety and think that because people are getting saved that it is okay not the moving of God. It is like the idea of a carnal christian, in my my mind there is no such thing, either you are saved and divorced from the world or your not saved and continung to love your sin and stay in it.

I was at Lakeland for three and a half months. I was at Bethel in Redding before that for almost a year.
Regarding Lakeland, you don't know what you're talking about. Take a good look at Chris. That's what it was about.
It was unfortunate that Todd sinned. But, guess what? GOD KNEW HE WAS GOING TO DO IT AND CHOSE HIM TO LEAD A MONUMENTAL REVIVAL ANYWAYS!! MILLIONS GOT TOUCHED AND FILLED AND THEIR LIVES WERE CHANGED, BECAUSE GOD DID IT. Nothing you can say can take away what we experienced.
And guess what he was doing what he did in JUNE and the "leaders" knew about it and he continued to "preach" and Todd is to my knowledge unrepentant of this so this in my opinion and according to scripture invalidates this so called "revival". Now I pray that Todd does repent and gets theologically sound. I pray this also for the "leaders" of this movement as well, to repent and get theologically sound.
There are people there (I'm sure) who are just seeking miracles, but they need a loving rebuke not to be called heretics and told they aren't really saved. You're also in error of making a generalization of the people that go to this thing. You can just assume everyone there is like this. There were people there like this, but most were like me who loves God and wants more of Him and want's to see souls saved and be a part of what He's doing.
The Holy Spirit NEVER stales, gets tired, but those who seek after experience after experience, will dry and then they will run to anything that looks real. Pray everyday, study your Bible everyday, stay close to God and you won't need revival or false experiences. Satan is about roaring, seeking to devour those who seek out anything but the truth of God's word. He is succeeding too. Just watch this and you will see Satan has the masses deluded.

Paul said "I want to know Him..." Paul wrote most of the new testament...you don't think he had a touch of God? I think Paul had eaten the real thing don't you? But yet he was hungry. And how did Jesus deal with the Pharisees? Did he do it with love or contempt? He did it with contempt, why? Because they knew the owrd but never knew the Word was living! I do not have contempt for the word of God I have contempt for those who pervert it.
Well that's actually not true. He treated them with contempt because they said the works of God was from the devil. They said that Jesus was deamon possesed. He didn't treat all of the pharisees that way either. There was Nicodeemus and saul. He was even eating at a pharisee's house.

I am glad you believe this but that is not salvation. Even Satan beleives this. Salvation is Repentence and turning from the sin you once loved, then trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for your salvation. It is not walking down an aisle or raising your hand and saying a quick prayer. It is a daliy walk, daily repentance, daliy reading the Bible, daily sharing the good news of the Gospel. He had contempt for them becasue they mad God into what they wanted and not what He is.

There are no need for these types of signs and wonders, Why? Because we have the word of God it is wonderous in and of itself. Does God heal? Yes. but is there any evidence that those who Jesus healed got saved, No. So again they were contemptable becasue they had hearts of stone. But this is a non essential. You love Jesus, Good! So do I! Do know you? Personally, no. However the spirit testifies to those who are His, do you feel the same for me as I for you? Remains to be seen.
I know Jesus personally! This is my last post because it's just a never ending cycle. I hate arguing. I love you, brother but you have found yourself in the error of judging your brother. The word is a wonder in it's self but God is not limited to it. God never changes! If He did all these wonderful things through out history in both the old and new testament what makes us think He won't do them now? I've seen miracles God has done with my own eyes at work. It's a great evangelizm tool. :)
I am sure it is a great tool, but does it talk to the sin condition that every human being is in? No. Only using God's Law then using God's Grace can speak to that condition and bring them to repentance. Never assume that I have not seen God's Miracles for I have. 2 very distinct ones, He healed my cousins eye from having to be removed when it hda 2 deep cuts in it, and He saved a wretch like me. Why are so many looking for a loud booming voice when God is right here beside them whispering?
Bro. I know the conviction of the Holy Spirit. I know it all too well. I've been in sin before and He wouldn't leave me alone. I haven't committed any sin to be convicted of. If I have I pray God would convict me. Miracles don't convict sins but they get peoples attention and let them know God IS REAL! I don't just pray for them to be healed and not introduce them to the one who healed them. To the fact that we cannot get to heaven but by God's grace. I'm sure you are used by God and I bless you
