maybe its just me but im not feeling her performance. she's so...snappy. mimi's more flirtatious and wild. she's flirtatious but first abrupt and slightly cold... difference of opinion really. either way a great song :)

Of course Adam Pascal will always be the iconic Roger, but I think Will Chase portrays him amazingly in his own brilliant way. He's always had a unique energy that shows in the different characters he portrays and it gives them such a different twist C:

@hunter421997 Yeah Rosario probably had 10 chances to get it right and yeah she is more eye candy. I did not like Mimi here originally but after watching the DVD like 15 times. I know know why this works. I've seen the original cast live and they have really improved here. The only thing is that in the "old" days, AIDS was more real (like having friends that actually died of it) and Alphabet city was more grungy and not gentrified. You felt the connection when you walked out of the theater.

Can we all agree that Daphne, Rosario and Renee are all awesome? They're 3 talented, beautiful women who can all sing and act. So they're different, so what? It's refreshing, rather than thinking "They just copied someone else".

It's like how everyone loved Freddi as Joanne as the original, yet Tracie was still just as awesome.

One mistake in the movie is that when it talks about April, Roger's "dead girlfriend"... It implies that she died of AIDS... But in the play, it says that she slit her wrists after learning that she had AIDS... I think that killing herself was much deeper and sent a stronger message
