  • Imagine if someone snapped and broke into that case and stomped that guitar to pieces before anyone came to stop them. They would probably go on trial for 1st degree murder.

  • Who else heard Lenny in the background?

  • where is lenny ???

  • @ShawnScaggs ok sorry:s ;) thanks for the news!!;)

  • @Mossberg451 realy?? I know Eric clapton buy it 620,000$ !!!

  • @chevrolet3370

    You are mistaken!

    It Sold June 24, 2004,

At Christie’s auction in New York to benefit Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Centre rehabilitation facility. Lenny was purchased by Guitar Center, for $623,500!

  • so jimi vaughn has the orginal

  • Hmm...I saw one at a local shop the other day and thought the relicing didn't look very good. Like it was relic'd first and then coated in something. Didn't look truly natural.

Bet they play bad ass though.

  • wheres his whammy???

  • Wow, that must've been quite the experience. I'm only 15 and the only reason I picked up guitar was because of Jimi, SRV, Frusciante, and Harrison. I was once lucky enough to see a Lenny Reproduction in a Guitar Center 15 feet above the check out counter in a glass case next to an Antigua Clapton Strat and a Dick Dale Stratocaster. I nearly cried when I saw it. Even though it wasn't the real deal. Wow, amazing.

  • I wonder if the guy who played this guitar before Stevie is still out there somewhere...

  • For the money that thing costs it should be illegal to sell it. John Mayer has a guy working for him who was Stevie's gutiar and equipment manager and was in charge of taking care of the real version of that guitar and he said that the replica is exactly like the original. Funny nobody knows where the real one is.

  • i have tried the replica, and it playes and sound AMAZING!!! most well played guitar i've tried!

  • i will steal that guitar:P

  • the funny thing is if any one bought one, no one would believe you when you said it cost £17,500 lol

  • drool

  • I just drooled ALL OVER my keyboard

  • wrapped it up I'll take it..

  • that....is...awesome!!!

  • nice and sneaky!

  • ya i went and saw it it was so cool!!!!!

  • HOLLY CRAPPP....

  • is the black mark on the head stock from cigarettes?

  • yeah!

  • Weed wouldn't burn long enough to make a burn.....

  • holy fucking dog shit are your jokeing i wouldn't sell that for 1 million its the greatest guitar ever its beutiful sounding

    and looking and whell built

  • Lenny became the only guitar from Stevie's estate to be made available to the public. At the historic June 24, 2004, Christies auction in New York to benefit Eric Claptons Crossroads Centre rehabilitation facility, Lenny was purchased by Guitar Center, for $623,500.

  • Thanks for the info. :)

  • @TMNTV this is the original lenny? omfg

  • i turned ten that day. durp!

  • Oh, gorgeous. Famos hands touched those frets.

  • Nice video

  • Was this the actual guitar or the Custom Shop Re-issue? I only ask because there's a similar video with "Number 1" displayed like this and I know that Jimmie Vaughan has it stored in a bank vault

  • As far as we know - the real deal! This exhibit was a special one time showing of some of the most coveted guitars in the world. It was put together by collectors/enthusiasts at the Dallas Guitar Show (2007).

  • oh so beautiful

  • cool!

  • beautiful guitar...

  • Cool!!!!!!!
