The train system appears to be too old. Here we buy tickets through Internet or (Internet connected) vending machines and now can choose seats that way on weekdays. Tickets are not stamped but attendance checked via PDA on train. The train windows don't open;they are sealed. I wouldn't get on such an old train.

@CrysLoveRomania89 not romanian locos, but Koncar made, since Koncar zagreb had a license from ASEA to manufacture locos for the former republic.

@HijenA yeah, possible. it looks like romanian locomotives made in romania [craiova]. we buy the license from sweden in the 70's. and majority balkans railroads companies have this kind of locomotive from romania ;)

@CrysLoveRomania89 that's why serbian railways did some modifications to their ASEAs in Romania. but never the less, these locomotives are almost certainly all from Koncar. the ZFBiH 441-9xx series was modernised in Koncar a couple of years ago, and all HZ locos were manufactured by Koncar according to the ASEA license. in former Yugoslavia only the 441-0xx series was made in Austria, all other series were made in Koncar.

Instead of changing locos 3 times on route from Sarajevo to Belgrade, why don't they just operate 3 trains a day? Each rail organisation will get a turn on operating the route.

Whatever the media tells you about Serbia and the War in Yugoslavia is propaganda. They are liars. Just like the lie about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, the lie about the ''genocidal'' war in Yugoslavia directed by one side against all others (who were completely ''innocent'') is BULLSHIT.

Serbs were raped, butchered, run out of their homes and slaughtered by muslims in Bosnia and Kosovo and by Croats too. The Serbs were our allies in two world wars fighting against Nazis.

For how long is this going to be good ?

If they keep on, one day the train will crash due to a human mistake. They can not connect the train 100.000 a year in only 1 minute for each turn.

The train chefs are going to make a mistake during the process...

Also, it's pretty obvious how Deutchewelle is biased towards their portrayal of Serbs. Of all the people on the train, they choose a drunk nationalistic guy to represent the views of all Serbs. Bad Journalism.

The woman who was sitting next to him is appeared to be Serb too; nonetheless, she was neither drunk nor nationalist . They showed that woman opposing the drunk nationalist guy, that means DW tried to show the difference of opinion.

Bosnia was never the enemy of Serbia. It's radical government led by the Islamist War Criminal Alija Izetbegovina was the enemy of Yugoslavia. As Thomas Jefferson always said "Democracy is basically mob rule. The top 51% of people get to subject the other 49% of people to their rule". Unfortunately, that was Bosnia's sad beginnings.

Yugoslavia attacked Bosnia. Not Serbia.
