Not true.

Everything set up wise was possible...wings, springs, dampers, 3rd elements, ride height, camber, toe, ratios, tires pressures, etc.

The only thing they couldn't do was engine map changes and development work...so everyone had the same car...but set up diferently.

I can only imagine the frustration of a seriuos race driver that isn't allowed to change his car's settings. Or the pit team's for that matter.

it reminds me of Trackmania Nations... but in trackmania you race against the clock and the track so cars don't collide.

it would be good if they added collision then it wouldn't take long until A1GP car skins and tracks show up.

a1 as a great concept but should have its own identity copying the name f1 is not a wise decision.. FORMULA1 2.6 V8 700 Hp + security features can never be compare. you have your own concept find your own name

in every A1 race weekend the countries must let a rookie (25 years or younger) practice in one of the practice sessions.

This is a great way for young drivers to get their names heard by the formula 1 teams!

The concept looks good. Too bad it lacks of variety in technique, compared to F1.

If u only lauch a new division based on the financial, it will never be as successful as F1.

f1 is very boring, and i am a car/bike fanatic.. thats sayin somethin.. ive turned to motogp for excitement in racing, even though this is starting to get boring because of throttle control introduced this year.. i still follow f1 but no longer see the races completely.. what makes f1 boring is the loads of rules and regulations and budget differences between all teams, basically.. dont know if a1 is any better though..

Well thats a plus, unfortunately the cars are not divese. Politics is a part of racing, hopfully it will not get out of hand in this series. My disapointment is with the lack of diverse equipment, nothing else.
