PC gamers play PC games to bring out every little ounce of graphics/sound a game can produce. They do not want to be limited by a console that is almost 7 years old, and thats exactly what a port does. That combined with ports looking over control schemes and lack of updates leave pc gamers wanting. At least some companies still cater to both. IE: BF

Vietnam would be a dope ass setting selection. The only problem is they NEED to incorporate helicopters and planes or it won't reflect the real war. This means much larger maps and way more players. A great model for this game would be battlefield: Vietnam. That game kicked so much ass. I mean you could fly helicopters and planes (Once you got the hang of it, was pretty tough) and blast vietnam songs from the chopper so they knew you were coming. Way ahead of its time, should just update it.

@killu19 I just don't think that lends itself to a very fun game play for multiplayer. Vietnam would be a much more complex game and being able to fly helicopters/planes would be awesome. Check out "Batllefield: vietnam" that game was so sick for multiplayer. Just massive maps with lots of people and ability to drive/fly lots of vehicles. Or you could just be vietcong and snipe or shoot down planes with SAMs. They should update that ame, they would make millions

@durhamdf I own almost the entire Battlefield franchise, so I've had Battlefield Vietnam for a very long time. I just wonder what it would be like if they brought World War I in the mix. I know it's mostly about the trenches, but there are other fronts to consider. The scale of the Eastern Theater was more upbeat, instead of sit in a trench and charge back and forth. They could have depicted the Battle of Gallipoli or featured a mission of the horrors of Passchendaele.
