This show is disgusting. You cannot justify torture, it is barbaric, it doesn't work -- repeat, it does not work, and it has no place (obviously) in a civilized society. We need to stop killing people all over the world and propping up dictatorships and enabling israel to continue it's racism and ethnic cleansing, then maybe people would not hate us so much. 100 prisonsers have died in US custody in recent years, most of those deaths have been ruled homicide. When someone dies of beating or other mistreatment, you can't really say they haven't been tortured.

The army ruled them homocides, the guards usually used extended forced exercise and sleep deprivation (which resulted in at least one death by exhaustion) and frequently beat prisoners, in one case kneeing a prisoner in the legs until his legs were completely destroyed. The beatings often result in blood clots which become dislodged and move to other places where they cause instant death. I consider any cruel or unusual punishment to be torture, it could be physical or psychological.

It could be considered torture if it's against the persons will and harms them psychologically or physically. I think it depends on the severity of the sleep deprivation or extended exercise. Making someone exercise for 14 hours per day without giving them any sleep could really mess them up. I should look at the report as well.

Read the U.S. Army report by general Tagumba. It talked about how detainees being raped with broom handles and chemical sticks. It talked about acid being poured on people. There was another army report that discussed people's hands being doused with alcohol and set on fire. One Iraqi general suffocated after being hung up in a "stress position" where he arms were pulled out of their sockets. Hey Rush, why don't you post a video of these things being done to you to prove it's not torture?

All objective research done shows that Fox News was the most objective of the 4 Cable News Channels, giving equal amounts of positive and negative coverage to BOTH candidates. CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, CBS, ABC, and NBC News were ALL shown too give vastly more positive coverage to Obama than McCain.

Why release more photos? We already know what went on, those people have been punished. Bush & Cheney's reputation is already flawed, what more do they want? More release of the same horrible pictures won't benefit ANYTHING! It makes the US look worse, and more importantly, endangers the lives of our military overseas. Nice to know also, that the American tax payers are essentially footing the bill for the salaries of bathtub boy, his nephew Rachael, and Tingles Matthews when you consider the fact that GE took 140 billion from Obama. Were they forced to sell off the unsuccessful, money-losing television network? Or does Immelt have a cozy relationship with Obama in order to push healthymagination? NBC has been such a good little trooper for the new administration.
