@RickyShoreSings Thanks a lot, man!! It was real great to have both those flicks together in one set. Real good deal Miramax has with Echo Bridge releasing some of their films for a good price. Speaking of which, did you know Miramax is under a new company now? (Disney doesn't have them anymore) More on that in a PM...
Ooh, Phantoms - I forgot about that flick; pretty good! And of course thanks for the shout-out, Chris; you are always too kind. :) I hope you had a great b-day!! Did you break out the MacGruber hat, LOL!?
@GabnDad You're very welcome! Always glad to do it. Thanks, my B-day was pretty good. I basically stuffed my face with bratwurst and hot dogs! LOL Haha believe it or not, the hat's still in good condition!!
Yeah, Phantoms is definitely awesome. Never thought I'd hear you give a horror flick good praise!
@donottakeitseriously Thanks a lot, Glad to be back! :) Yeah, the 1980 original is better I'm with you there. I just watched the remake today. Me personally the opening and the last 20 minutes are the strong points for me. And it does have some BS moments that push believability a bit. But it was $3 bucks, so it's all good. I wouldn't have paid more than that!
@JLDFilmsVids Thanks, Jared! Haha, yeah any Screen Gems film, that isn't the Resident Evil films, Vacancy, Hostel (a Screen Gems/Lionsgate co-production), or Arlington Road! LOL And let's not leave out their classic TV stuff, Bewitched, and I Dream Of Jeanie! (Screen Gems was responsible for those shows in the 60's in their heyday)
Awesome DVD Update Chris and glad to see you back!!
The Faculty is a great and fun film. I really enjoy it. Never seen all of Phantoms. I thought Amusement was pretty good and a fun film. I really like the Prom Night remake. It's pretty good and a lot of fun.
@Rhine1988 Thanks a whole lot Justin!!! Yeah, Prom Night remake is probably the ultimate guilty pleasure for me. It's not great, but has some good parts that really stood out for me. Like I mentioned, I loved the last 20 minutes of the flick. Very suspenseful stuff. And a couple of kills that were pretty shocking. If it wasn't for the tragic flaws in logic (the body's in one place and disappears the next LOL), it would have been a pretty solid film.
i still need to get the faculty on dvd as it was directed by Robert Rodriguez
the prom night remake is 1 of the worst horror movies i've seen the story is packed with BS plotholes , the blood effects in the film are horrendously terrible i've seen short college films with better effects than that
@Glynreaper08 Haha, can't argue with you there on the plotholes! LOL And The Faculty is a great flick from Rodriguez. That's another flick that doesn't get talked about a lot. Thanks for the awesome comments, man!
cheers buddy well happy belated birthday i hope it was all you wished it would be and then some talk to was a great movie nice gift love the faculty and phantoms was a good one as well and to get them together is awesome i love amusement i got it on blu-ray very cheap these day it use to be real expensive nice pickup i love it to what is there not to love about killer clowns lol i am not a huge remake fan so i cant say a lot on this as i have never seen it but i sure if you like is good cheers
@ronfrrll73 Oh yeah, both those flicks are just excellent. They also had a double feature of Dracula 2000 and Cursed. I didn't get that one because it was the choppy PG-13 version and not the unrated version. Luckily they had Dracula 2000 by itself for the same price ($5 bucks) so I probably get it next time I go back to K-Mart.
Btw, I saw The Prophecy. Oi, that was a cheesefest. What's funny is the director said he was trying to be serious but unfortunately his heavy drinking altered his mindset, haha!
I knew that one would be right up your alley! Haha, yeah Frankenheimer must have have been hittin' the sauce pretty hard then. What ever he was drinking, I want some of that shite! LOL But yeah, it shows he tried what he could with what he had. It's a decent time waster in my book. I would love to see you do a review on it sometime.
Great vid Chris...The Faculty is a great film one of my all time alien favs.
liked & faved

"Affleck is the bomb in Phantoms" ROFL! Way to go Mom on getting you Talk To Me. That is a great film.
I have never seen Amusement, I may check that one out.
Prom Night (2008)...really? .....I didn't like it, I prefer Jamie Lee Curtis.
Nice to see you back!
