he would have won 2 championships if not because of MJ... well MJ was the man though... still Luv this guy!!... one of the greatest and dominant ever...
Typically big market teams that got shady calls and, in the Lakers' case, shady trades pushed through by Stern.
Kobe should be thankful he plays in a big market -- or rather, that he forced the Hornets to trade him to LA (another BS trade that the league let go). In a small market his hand is bare.
And Kobe can't win shit without a big. Thank G-d Stern provided Gasol.
Oh, and let's not forget the rule changes that make it easy for guards.
MJ and Karl are the only two players in NBA history with 12 - 2000 point seasons! = Karl Malone BEST POWER FORWARD EVER!.....................Right now any way
Kobe is FAR from the greatest. He's great, but he didn't make it to Jordan-esque status, yet. I'm more interested in where LeBron is going. He's already being debated as the best player in the league right now,and he still has 10+ years of playing. When he hits his prime....my god,it's gonna be a scary sight. Now HE could retire as one of the greatest of all time.
It's not my opinion that LeBron is better than Kobe, I'm just saying it's already being debated. I still think that RIGHT NOW, Kobe has too much polish to his game, and far too many moves in his arsenal. Kobe is the best player in the league right now. But 4-5 years down the line, I see LeBron taking the league by storm.
the modern day of stackton and malone is nash to stoudemire..

no way Malone becomes second all time scorer if he doesn't play with Stockton in Jerry Sloan's system

At least he has 2 MVP awards and some Gold Medals to go with his Allstar break MVP awards that he shared with Stockton. Bitch.

Malone's got the resume of a top ten player.
Easily.
There isn't a player in the 'without a ring' category that was or is as good as Karl Malone.

Maybe at the shooting guard position, but no one will ever be as good as Malone at the Power Forward spot.

Titles matter, but they're won by teams.
