@xPowerofwillx-Axial's SCX-10 TR is ready to run and complete. I think those are around $300. That's about the minimum to get in if you're starting from scratch (new to rc's). A kit will run you less (some kits, others are more) but don't include everything you'll need, particularly a radio.

Thanks sokey70! Its funny to me. The [scale] eye level camera angle is one of the easiest and most effective way to shoot these to make them interesting. Good driving and terrain helps too, lol.

I did a search for SCX10's and this came up. Is that what this thing is? Looks epic. Where did you get the FJ body? its a perfect fit!

Thanks. I think the FJ started as a SCX-10 but now has so many parts replaced its not, lol. You could make one starting with an scx-10 though. Body is from toy rc by Nikko.

What would i need to do on it to just accommodate the Fj body?

On the SCX you'd have to shorten the wheelbase. Would require you make new links for the new axle location at the rear, possibly moving both axles required. Attach body with velcro on brackets or screw connections.

You find the best places for vidoes its not funny. Too many leaves here. Anywhere kool is loaded with poison ivy too. Great Vid.

Thanks 5kcsqt. There's a spot I was at once with my 7 yr old. we're walking around this dense undergrowth driving the trucks when some hiker comes by and tells us we're standing in poison ivy! LOL. Luckily we were spared getting any on our skin...

That's my rover. Yes, its a New Bright body. It's been discontinued but they can be found sometimes on amazon (UK version only though).

My friends FJ is from a toy rc made by Nikko. Target, ToysRus, etc to purchase. My red rover is my favorite and is nearly 2 years old already. Shows its age, lol.
