  • Morgan Griffith doesn't live in the 9th district. He can't vote for himself. So why should you?

    VOTE BOUCHER.

  • @realbleamer

Upon redistricting, he will live in the 9th most definitely. He's 19 feet from the district line.

He went to college at Emory and Henry, he is also the House of Delegates' Majority Leader. What is it that Boucher has done, buy a car with campaign funds?

Go back to the drawing board and come back with a better argument whiney Democrat.

  • The idea here is that Mexican Nationals, legal or illegal, are replacing AMERICAN jobs. There is ONE reason and ONE reason only they bring these workers from mexico - INCREASED PROFITABILITY. Companies like TME have no interest in providing a living wage the way VDOT did to its career employees.

TME probability pays these guys minimum wage, which is big money for a Mexican National. It is hard to provide for an American family while only earning the minimum wage.

  • Wow! What an effen idiot! Obviously he doesn't actually know how immigration law actually works! You don't necessarily get a green card, even if you are a LEGAL migrant worker (H2's work because the work is "seasonal" - duh!). Wow! I'm in Cali where knowledge of migrant worker laws is basic knowledge to pretty much everyone - and THIS is you candidate for congress? He doesn't even know a BASIC understanding of the LAW? Wow! I'm embarrassed for you...

  • (Cont'd from previous post...) But this just goes to prove that those knowing the least about immigration and migrant worker issues are continuing to use collective ignorance and fear to their own advantage.

Go to the US Dept of Homeland Security - Citizenship and Immigration Services site for more info on H-2 program.

  • (Cont'd from previous post...) Many H-2 workers don't speak English well, like those in this video, and might've only understood his asking for a green card, which they knew they didn't have so shook their heads and said "no", and isn't required. And reference the English-speaking guy made about US Consulate involved describes exactly how H-2 employment program works, making their being LEGAL sound probable.

  • If these guys were brought over by a contractor under the H-2 program, they are not issued green cards, because they're not immigrants seeking permanent residency, just seasonal workers, so question is irrelevant in establishing if they're "illegal" or not. A tourist from another country wouldn't have a green card, either, but they aren't judged "illegal," it's not an either/or situation.

  • @EASYCOMPANY2008

No, the company that VDOT contracts hired illegals. This is a baseless argument.

I'm actually quite libertarian myself, but I will not vote for Heaton.

  • Are you aware that you have violated at least 2 laws in making of this video? There is an 'Emergency Stopping Only' sign on I-81, maybe you should look for it.

This cannot be tied to Griffith, any argument that you've tried make from this is far from realistic. I'll have everyone know that the Commonwealth's legislature and VDOT cannot possibly look over the shoulder of their subcontractors at all times.

I hope this is not your tactic to win the campaign.
