I think I know what; going on..Pankunchhi is a baby panda who lived with his mom who often fed him bamboo. He didn't like & had once tried bread which he thought was better. So he went away from home to find himself some to eat. He eventually found a piece of toast on the ground but...he was caught lost with the toast..

the name of the character is actually Pankun; pankunchi just means 'pankun's house'. this video tells the story about his background (him not liking bamboo leaves like a regular panda and instead goes after his love for bread (bread in Japanese is also 'pan')
