Hunting dogs need the attention of humans to be trained and to keep them from going wild. Beagles need their masters approval to feel they are wanted. Hunting dogs and packs are not this big, at least the puppies are not and even puppies need the attention of their adult dogs to learn the ways of the pack. People just think of dogs as cute. But you will never see your true dog til you have dominance over them. The true test is preventing them from doing something and then making you come to you for a telling off.
gotta love how people assume it's a puppy mill because there are alot of pups there. Hunters will usually take out a pack of hounds 5 or more at a time. So you need alot of dogs.
They are obviously well cared for as they all seem healthy and happy.
Also that pen is clean so they obviously aren't kept in there all the time, it's probably just a play pen for them all.
I was in correct in my previous statement on how many dogs are used in beagling. A normal pack is at a minimum of 10 beagles. (My uncle used to go beagling when he was in his 20's)
When you go beagling, there are usually three or four hunters in a group who follow the dogs.
You also do what is called "Turning the dogs". You don't always take out the same group of hounds out. One day you may use group A and another day you may use group B.
I Am in no way for cruelty to animals.....however I have a pack of beagles that i use to rabbit hunt with. Now as far as this "puppy mill"......i doubt these dogs are all kept in this one pen.....notice how clean the ground is behind the dogs.....dont you think that so many dogs would have a rather large pile of shit around them? Perhaps these were just put in the pen to show them off. JMHO

gotta love how people assume it's a puppy mill because there are alot of pups there. Hunters will usually take out a pack of hounds 5 or more at a time. So you need alot of dogs.
They are obviously well cared for as they all seem healthy and happy.
Also that pen is clean so they obviously aren't kept in there all the time, it's probably just a play pen for them all.

I was in correct in my previous statement on how many dogs are used in beagling. A normal pack is at a minimum of 10 beagles. (My uncle used to go beagling when he was in his 20's)
When you go beagling, there are usually three or four hunters in a group who follow the dogs.
You also do what is called "Turning the dogs". You don't always take out the same group of hounds out. One day you may use group A and another day you may use group B.

I Am in no way for cruelty to animals.....however I have a pack of beagles that i use to rabbit hunt with. Now as far as this "puppy mill"......i doubt these dogs are all kept in this one pen.....notice how clean the ground is behind the dogs.....dont you think that so many dogs would have a rather large pile of shit around them? Perhaps these were just put in the pen to show them off. JMHO

OMG that is so sad. I have a beagle and I love her so much. You are running a horrible puppy mill and had the nerve to post it on you tube. Having all of those beagles in such a small pin you need to be tracked down and put in jail.

From the looks of the enclosure they have plenty of water there's no pee or sh!t on the floor. they don't have their ribs sticking out of their sides. They are probly exercised i wouldn't assume such thing when there is clearly no signs of abuse.
