I remember the first time I watched this episode! I really thought they were gonna kill off Sawyer!

As for all the endgame stuff. I always liked Sawyer/Kate the best, but observing they ended up with the people that made them feel more stable and complete. A mature relationship. Whereas I would say Sawyer and Kate were more like a young love romp. School girl and school boy type of thing.

@gemmasasha Um, I'm pretty sure if jack was in that position about to be shot by picket in front of her it would be the same. Jack and Kate have the most memorable and most emotional scenes, hence why they're were the end game. They were the endgame since the pilot.

And after watching how miserable Jack and Kate were when living together, I don't think we can assume that's a healthy relationship but of course, that's just an opinion. Some people may think they were a happy couple loving and shouting at each other, and lying and hiding facts from each other.

Anyway, there was more than a quarrel there, there were stalking scenes, not only towards Kate but also towards his ex-wife and apart from that episode we didn't see Kate and Jack having a true relationship, and it involved pills, alcohol, and shouting, not only that day btw.

@BriitneyFan The only true love scene was when he was dying and when he was dead. Not my piece of cake. I must say. Kate didn't leave the cage, but she left the island with Sawyer. And the most remembered scene is the epic cage scene. No matter how hard some fans who have been working to get their ending try to make the ending on the cliff memorable, the ending of Lost has been criticised all over the world.
