The blue one (EMX) is a powerful synth/drum machine which has 5 synth parts. The red one (ESX) is a drum machine/synth/sampler. It only has 2 synth parts but it has 2 time stretch samples and a chopped part. I only have the ESX. The memory isn't fantastic but it is an incredibly powerful machine. The synths aren't as flexible as the blue one but you can make some grimey sounds with it, and since it's a sampler you can make remixes or beats with ANYTHING
yo i never thought of remixing this song with some dnb i shall try the when i get my electribe you should also try welcome to jamrock the original version i don't know who it's by but it would be a wicked mix!!!!!!! oh my i can't wait till i get mine, i'll post my mixes!! keep up the dnb
dude, i just watched that from beginning to end. at first, i had my doubts, but it slowly dawned on me that it what you were doing was SO DOPE. good work!
@kernelchagi ive jsut bought and emx1 and im looking for a sampler based piece of kit to accompany it.. Ive read a few posts in forums saying that the problem with it is memory with the old school cards, just wondered what your thoughts on that were? someone claimed you oculd only get 3 minutes worth of samples into the box at any one time which if your performing a live set for 90 minutes is going to become an issue
who sing that song and whats the name of that song (the original one)

lol init.... heres a less dumb question. what 1 is doing the voice sample so i buy the right 1?
bobstereo 3 years ago
The ESX has the sampler whereas the EMX has built in sounds, ergo, the ESX is doing the voice sample.
