Isn't Shaikh Muhammad Al-Banna from the family of the deviant Hasan Al-Banna? I thought he was his nephew. Please clarify. May Allah bless you.

The shaykh has no relationship what so ever with Hasan al-Banna of the Ihkwaan al-Muslimeen both in birth and in aqeedah & manhaj. al-Hamdulillah

@asalafi a5e.. i understand that there is ahlu al sunna waljamaat hanafi shafii maliki and hanbali... do they all follow muhammad abdul wahhab? and i heard that salafi is hanafi... does salafi consider shafii maliki and hanbali as beleivers?

@slingmoe94 salafi are those who follow the qur'an and the sunnah by the understanding of the sahabah. so salafis don't follow muhammad abdul wahhab or albani they just see them as scholars. as for following a madhab then there is no issue, but salafis don't follow a certain scholar blindfully whether it be the four imam or albani or mohammed ibn abdulwahhab.

alhamdulillah may Allah reward the shaykh, and brother Abdulilah. in a lesson after fajr today Abdulilah was breifly telling us about the shaykh and his sittings with him and of his great knowledge. No akhee. This biography is by brother Abdulilaah. That biography in the Masjid Rahmah conference 2008 in USA you are talking about was given by Shaykh Hasan ibn Abdul Wahhab al-Banna hafithahullaah who is the brother of this Shaykh Muhammad al-Banna hafithahullaah.

No, this is his elder brother Shaykh Muhammad al-Banna. The shaykh lives in Saudi he has a house and a masjid in Jaddah and a house in Makkah.

There is a very beautiful story how the shaykh got his Saudi citizenship watch all the parts its in one of them..lolz
