@doctruptwn Can you recommend a bit for my dremel to polish off the black finish, I don't have a bench grinder. I like the mirror finish as well. I'm assuming some flitz will help the overall look. Thx
@BIGDEZUL Use the white felt wheels and the Flitz. That will do the job. If you can fine some 1000 grit sand paper and use it before the Flitz it will speed up the process.
You make it look simple , when you think of all the parts that go into a 1911 pistol , it is amazing how it is still PROBABLY THE MOST POPULAR SIMI-AUTO PISTOL OUT THERE , after all this time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video , even when you got stuck with the mag release button you still showed us how to think back step by step to see what could be wrong .
Other reviewers would have just EDITED that bit out , good for you sir , keeping it real .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you polish your barrel? I got mine 3 days ago and my barrel is black..

@apoptoliptic Yes I did, Never have liked a black barrel. I usually polish them. The WWII pistols are the only ones I have left the finish on.
