My Puggle does this too, even tried to eat my foam mattress!! They have real good sense of smell and love to dig. If he/she is tired, may be trying to adjust the comforter; both my Beagle and Puggle loved to sleep under the covers. Soo cute!
its so nice to see that people out there are loving and caring for pupys and respect them..and i have 2 dogs, but one had to get put down she was 15 so she wouldnt have to hurt with her back end, she couldnt walk. but my othher dogs are kind and nice

Our Puggle puppy does the same thing when she gets frustrated with our Beagle. He picks at her and she cuts loose digging like there's no tomorrow.
