It just pisses me off that for a lot of things Treyarc goes for realism, and then they put a modern weapon in the game, and guns like the FAMAS and Steyr AUG which were not in production yet. Also, it pisses me off that the G11 was never put into production, yet they can put it in the game, and kill in one burst. I no longer play Black Ops because many other things in that game regarding balance, spawns, realism etc. make me mad.

Also, the Cold War doesn't end in 1975 with the Fall of Saigon, it ended after the Soviet-Afghanistan war in which the United States-backed Afghanistan defeated the Soviet Union. This war ended in about 1991 after the Soviets lost their ability to produce nukes. Therefore, if we take it at face value, there is no real known time period for the game, since it could go from 1944-1991.

I use the mp5k instead of the ak74u, so I don`t have to get all those stupid hate messages and stuff all the time for raping the little noobs.. learn how to use the mp5k, and it`s more deadly close range, and just burst it medium range because it has a lot more recoil..

The MP5k is basically the same as Ak74u, but with a longer reload time and much more recoil. So it's not worth using at all. Basically, weapon balance in BO is worse than it was in MW2.

Furthermore, some specific weapon characteristics such as recoil values were just plainly copied form COD4 without any adjustments. Then there are dozens of weapons in BO with the exact same recoil patterns.

@sspope Treyarch has no acess to the game design and enine of mw2, they probably used alot of development time just to get the reload actions looking so good, so they are definitely not lazy. Besides, everyone knows that MW2 will always have better multiplayer. Im in BO for the zombies.

@Swordsman75 Didn't they only increase the recoil of the 74U when rapid fire is equipped? I personally am a huge fan of the Skorpion right now. It just mauls people up close at a 2 shot kill but beyond that the 5 shots it takes can be harsh. However because it has practically zero recoil its not hard to put 5 consecutive shots on target in a small time frame. I just wish they would've actually done something to the 74U in general minus a tweak to an attachment. I say that to see more variety

@hellomasterchief1 they need to just alter its base stats to put it more on par with the other SMGs. By that I don't mean completely mess it up. Just simply tweak its max range of damage, ya know something simple like that would change it completely. As it is right now it has SMG movement speed with AR kill capacity. Keep the movement speed and drop its max range/reduce ADS time or drop movement speed to make it handle more like an AR. I'm sure its not that easy but there are plenty of options

MP5k+acog+extended mags=imba. The hopping recoil doesnt matter too much if you shoot in bursts. Hip firing is awesome if you get used to it.
