  • yo...dude...you got right the notes and stuff , but where is the passion ? ...

  • @dobrex94 yeah i was an ametuer when recording this, check out my better version! i hope its better :S

  • good job!

  • It all depends on who is playing..for example if Slash was playing an epiphone while snowboard was playing a Gibson Les Paul..well you get my point people xD

Doesn't much matter who has the better guitar because if you are GOOD then you can make the cheapest guitar sound like a Gibson my friends.

  • nn ce semo...

  • gibsons are better quality the woods the pickups and everything that goes into them and the customs are hand built there is a human everystep of the way epiphones come of a machine line and my custom sounds way better than any of your epiphones

  • i agree.. i though that epiphones were better because of the price... untill i played a gibson... theres no comparison when it comes to sound and feel

  • of course there is no comparison. The doub always was: Is Epiphone Les Paul a good guitar? Yes it it. Is it as good as Gibson? Of course not. That's it.

  • epiphones are handmade lol

  • right they have been handmade since?? o ya never they arent hand made they are made on a production line in korea and other places like that they are in no way handmade what so ever

  • lol , i have visited their factory in china. don't talk before you actually know what you are talking about

  • riiigggghhhtt they arent handmade and have never been if they were handmade they would cost more then 500 bucks and yes i have good buddy in the gibson office so o ya i am right

  • Lol they are cheap because they are made in China, it is cheap to hire people making them etc.

  • of course gibson is better, you're saying nothing than the true. Epiphone are good guitars? Yes, Gibson are way way better and a custom guitar will only depend of who did it. Period.

  • Having said that if Slash come on stage with an epiphone it would only be us beard stroking musos who would notice.

  • hi thinking of buying an epiphone or a vintage v100 what would be your choice. thanks

  • Epiphone, easier to get spare parts due to the fact most retailers will sell Epiphone parts. Vintage spare parts may have to be ordered in. Dont take our word for it, go try them both out and any others you like the look of. You might find that your more of a Fender person or maybe B.C Rich.

  • tartar sauce!!!!

  • better pick up,better amp,

so epiphone sure nice than gibson.

somemore its up to player who play the guitar lol,

nice the player nice the sound ! xD

  • I like gibsons, But they are over priced in a way.. They are only more expencive cuz of the name... People want a gibson because of the name. Allot of epiphones sound just like gibsons

  • Yeah, in the old days, my gramps told me he bought his first gibson les paul for just 200 bucks straight from the factory!

  • awesome!! dude

  • do you have your neck tone knob rolled to 0? Im getting that alnico II neck pickup and wonder if that was what slash does on his les paul.... any help?

  • yes...seymour duncan alnico II pro pickups

  • how about

    gibson les paul studio

and put a pair of alnico II pro.

  • I'm replying to userbenji8044 btw and then answered jaimerawks24 question

  • is this hard to play

  • fuckin awsome man..!

wats the difference between gibson les paul and epiphone..?

  • Gibson les Paul is handcrafted, so each Gibson is individual with it's own different "feel". Some bits HAVE to be machine made.

An Epiphone Gibson Les Paul is COMPLETELY machine made

  • ooo thx bro..

    do they sound the same..?

do they have the same feel..?

  • Gibson definately sounds different to an Epiphone. Epiphone is made with cheaper materials and is finished differently. Epiphone isn't a bad guitar though. It is made purely for people who don't want to spend thousands. The standard pickups on an Epi are usually pretty good but nowhere near like a Gibson. They both feel similar, but you can always feel the difference between an expensive guitar and a cheaper one by the wood quality. Epiphone is made overseas while Gibson is made in America

  • Besides the hardware the epiphone isnt really any different. Put 200 bucks into one and you wont tell the difference.

  • tell me where your getting these facts from. it sounds like you dont know what your talking about, and your just trying to defend gibson. gibson is better quality, but dont make shit up about other guitars. epiphones are made the same way as gibsons. machines cant set a guitar neck to the body, machines cant give a guitar the special sunburst technique. think about it. the main difference is the better woods, pickups and overall setup

  • True but the control is complete shit these days.

  • a los wenos slash ¬¬

  • nice...slash would be proud

  • I'd say he's a real rocker because he positions his thumb above the fretboard as it is favoured by most rockers.....good work man!!!

  • Yeah that's an Epiphone Les Paul...I Love that color though that Cherry Sunburst color...I Don't know why I like that so much, but I really like that color...even though the only "Rockstar" so-to-speak that I really Idolize who often used a Sunburst Axe is Stevie Ray Vaughan (& his Sunburt Stratocaster was so Ridiculously Beat to Sh!t that it really didn't look all *THAT* Sunburst lol)

  • its an epiphone. Epiphones cost around 400 to 700 dollars.

  • thats an epiphone????you sure about that???i dont think it is i think its gibson....but i might be wrong...and yes les paul epiphone go from 400 to 700....u might find one for less than 400 or more than 700.......gibson are way more expensive ....the gibson i want cost 2000

  • Its an Epiphone LP Classic - check description lol!!!

  • I have an Epiphone that cost $860...

  • nice pls check my version

  • send me the tabs man. Awesome solo man.

  • very nice

  • dude you own so mutch

  • i was thinking of doing this combination of pickups::::: Bridge:Seymour Duncan Invaders and Neck:Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pro's....is this a nice combination cuz i play guns n roses and a little avenged sevenfold and more but ya kno just asking. i have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus with Stock Pickups, Skinny top Heavy bottom strings(10 guage), Marshall mg15dfx amp

  • hi ye i have basically the same guitar as u and i have put an invader in the bridge and am planning to put an alnico pro 2 in the neck , i also have the same amp as you , i think the pickup choice you have mentioned is brilliant!!! do it!!!

  • ncie guitar and solo :D

  • well done ;-)

  • well done. /applauds your awesome!

  • what settings did you use on your digitech?

  • yea

  • brilliant

  • Very nice!!

  • The sound comes from much more than just the pick-ups, even with an electric. The wood that the guitar is made with is far higher quality with a Gibson, it makes a different sound and has far more sustain.

  • i use a digitech rp250 fx processer - tbh that enhances the sound alot!!

  • Most modern processors are fantastic bits of kit, but I'm an old traditional fart so can never work out how to use one properly!

  • i still haven't seen a processor that would compete with descrete electronic amps.

Some of the electrons that are in your guitar go to the amp, they say to others: "hey guys i want to to move this speaker, can you help me?" A large conference hall called TUBE enables him to do his speaking :D And then they with fury, anger, or just beautiful passion go to the speaker and express their emotions :) And processor enslaves poor electrons. they can do it this way but without feel and the sound sucks

  • can u give me the tabs for this please rock on bro

  • Well played......Sell the Epi and buy the real thing, you deserve it!

  • 5* that sounded very good!! Nice job!

  • what is the difference between a epi les paul classic and a standard??

  • a standered is usually cheaper

  • pretty good

  • Take your pickguard off and your

    guitar will look like Slash's

    guitar,and put another

Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro 2 in it

    and hey!you got Slash's guitar!!

  • dumbass if he takes the pick guard they will be a massive hole with all wires in it

  • no there wont. i have taken the pick guard off my les paul and all thats left are two tiny holes...no wires

  • You only see a tiny hole near the neck pickup and one hole you can't see from the front (watch my video to see it).

  • i hav a bad tab...can u send me the 1 u used...thanx...

  • not too shabby at all man, I saw your other vids, you sound really good :)

  • very nice i really love those song solos

but im pretty sure that from 1:35 to 1:49 notes arent correct. check other tabs ;)

  • Very NICE!

  • why do all internet guitarists keep their face covered? come to think of it so do I!

  • cos your face isnt relevant and its hard not to look stupid.

  • That's funny, and I have to agree!..lol

  • Well played and nice sound!

  • So are those both the same pickups, or is just one the seymore alnico II?

  • men

    thatss awesome I played diferentt..

can you tab it for me

    willy_gza93@hotm...

  • good man!

  • Very good! I think you have to do it a little bit faster, but it is almost perfect ;)

  • man, i've listened to this solo hundreds of times.

literally, 3:55, then rewind to 3:55 and on and on. sometimes listening to the 2nd and sometimes not.

but holy shit, you killed man. total respect to you. very precise.

the end was a tad choppy, but damn man.

wish i could do even half what you could.

  • fucking fair doooooo's

  • you play really good dude...keep playing!

  • as I sked you in another video...wich amp is that?

It's awesome dude! I was amazed...I couldn't belive that sound

  • good job!

    rock on dude :DD

  • you can play in band !!!

  • would you recommend the alnico II pro?

  • Reallynice, and nice sound!

  • Well done man, and don't listen to "almost 40 year old virgin", Epiphone's a good name...not everyone has $1500 to plunk down on a Gibson Les Paul. I have the same one and it does just fine.

  • well played , very bad tone

are you using digital multi-effects ?

  • Bad tone?

Sounds just like slash's. Seymour Duncans with the tone knob rolled back.

  • damn that was nice.

  • Please, no more fronting with the Epiphone.

  • and what is exactly wrong with it?

  • There actually good make. I'd love to see you find another guitar for that price that plays as beautifully as an Epiphone does.

  • No sweat. The company is called Michael Kelly Guitars. Don't try to tell ME, asswipe. I've owned Crapaphone products, and they're all Korean-made garbage. Incidentally, the word is *THEY'RE, genius.

  • well sorry for trying to point out a flaw in my spelling. it's possibly one of the stupidest ways to try and insult someone. honestly, MKG's a pretty lame - I know, I've played one.

  • Always some dumb ass with no vids posted talking shit. Shut up douche bag.

  • "When I want your opinion, I'll give you 1."

Is that supposed to make sense?

  • Tru' 'Dat.

  • i thik it is perfect man!;D nice work and on all you other videos to;)

  • not bad..but you have way too much distortion/overdrive..

  • That was played so clean

  • You have maybe Pickup???!!!!: Seymour Duncan™ Alnico Pro-II-N and Seymour Duncan™ Alnico Pro-II-B ????? and Erine ball RPS 11 ???????

    ?????????????

  • first of all I wanted to thank you for using that guitar playing gnr. that guitar was made for rock, hardrock and rock n' roll stuff. your playing is cool! I got my epi too and also play gnr...keep it up!

  • just change the strings around, youd be badass !

  • prob won't work anyway. the positioning is wrong. on a fender it IS possible, but highly unlikely to work on a gibbo/epi

  • joder! Wow...
