It's a nickname for these strange midgets with really big heads that try to kidnap smooching teenage couples trying to get it on. It's an Ohio urban legend.
I'm loving all the WoD reviews you're doing... but when are we going to get a review of Requiem, Forsaken or Awakening? Those are the bread and butter of White Wolf, Kurt!
Personally, I'm not a big fan of horror movies/gaming/books, but I am a big fan of your reviews. Keep 'em coming!
Personally, I'd love for you to move off the Horror theme for a while. Maybe you could do a series where you review D&D 4e, Castles & Crusades, and the Pathfinder Alpha/Beta that Piazo is working on. Then do some compare and contrast on them.
Don't know if there are any miniature painters out there but I produce another Youtube show on Model Building called Monster Model Review and this week I built and painted a female Elvish Warrior. Sure the scale is bigger but my eyes are old. I used to paint leads a lot but I've always loved monster models. Check out monstermodelreview on Youtube.
I'd like to see some more non-WoD reviews as well. Personally I'd like to see more of the AFMBE line, but think it'd be entertaining to watch an Unhallowed Metropolis (same guys who did #51), Trail of Cthulhu (Since you're a big CoC fan), Wushu (or one of the great old-school freebie RPGs, like Star Frontiers, Labyrinth Lord, Mutant Future, Mazes & Minotaurs, Legends of the Ancient World), the new Mongoose version of Runequest and Traveller, or since you've been leading up to it, D&D 4th.
Have to agree with Ahrimanius666... Too many World of Darkness reviews recently. Although I'm a little biased b/c I've never liked WOD. Still, I would like to see more of a mix of games.
Anyway, the middle of nowhere in rural Ohio? Isn't the whole state of Ohio the definition of the middle of nowhere? "Nooo! I'm in Cleveland!!!" Talk about scary.
That's exactly the type of a book I've been looking for! This is exactly that "something" I've seen in one of the stories in Carella's Witchcraft (are you going to review it some day?) that made me think: hey! place in the middle of nowhere is a great setting for a story!
Well tbh with you man not everybody knows about the Books that Kurt is reviewing on the WoD and since im a Fan of WoD id liek to know about books form it before I buy them. INtros into Alternotive games is cool (Like Unknown Armies) but man there is a Bizzilion games out there and Kurts done just under 70....cut the guy some slack
My favourite nWOD book.

I heard him mention rural Ohio. Are there rules for the "Melonheads" in any of the books?

You think Ohio is bad? Ever tried Texas?...

Awesome stuff. As EternalLife said, the WoD reviews are great.
This book's going to be perfect with the new Hunter for a "Supernatural" campaign.

Kurt...this is the most acurate review ever!
I got one scary setting for you:
You move to a small, rural town east of Cincinnati (like me) and...THERE ARE NO GAMERS!!!
...You franticly run through the streets of Bethel and noonw knows what a 'hit point' is...pure horror!
I gotta get this book today!

Coll review man, though you starting to make me chomp at the bit now, can we get some longer reviews?
zompire 3 years ago
Reviews I'd like to see:
More AFMBE line
More Buffy line
More Mutants & Masterminds line
More Indies: Wushu, Reign, Trail of Cthulhu, etc.
Mongoose Traveller
Mongoose Runequest
D&D 4th
Old-School freebies (Labyrinth Lord, Mutant Future, Star Frontiers, Legends of the Ancient World, Mazes & Minotaurs, ZeFRS)
Broadening people's gaming horizons shouldn't always force them to part with money ;)

I'm very happy with the new WoD.
The attention they give to 'Mortal' gameplay is really satisfying.
It's been a while since we played supernatural characters,.. and to be honest; I like it very much..
This book looks really tempting.. 'Horror/Suspense Road Movies' ,.. genius..

zompire 3 years ago
Praise the Heavens finally Witchcraft I asked for that back in the first episode.

Its not fair really Im still waiting for more Unisystem Stuff to be reviewed but your producer says you have done 2 much Unisytem.
But thats okay with World of Darkness???
I always dread having to see another WoD review
I play WoD but I like to see games reviewed that not everybody knows about.
