@KPalms1001 In fact the worst I see today is Islam (and no, It's not simply based on events in the past 10 years) - The Quran actually supports and encourages violence to be openly carried out by it's followers in multiple passages, and as we've seen, they HAVE been by so called "Islamic extremists". They're hardly "extremists", they're simply following their religion as it was meant to be followed. The Bible has similar passages, but they're no longer (for the most part) actually practiced.

@KPalms1001 And yes, Christians were brutally and harshly persecuted during the Roman era, though see it from their perspective - an Empire that controls more than half of the known world sees a new Religion arise, based on the worship of ONE god, not multiple. They're going to label them as lunatics, heretics, etc., as would any Empire that wanted to keep their practices of polytheism in power, as they'd been for thousands of years.
