2009Marvel/BET series.The animation is low budget,but the story more than makes up for it.The writing is from a politically proactive AfricanAmerican POV & the story is from a Wakandan perspective,where other countries,including a thinly-veiled Bush US govt,are viewed as being manipulative,self-serving & maniacle.There's also a lot of social-politcal commentary about bigotry & Anglo/Euro/American/christian attitudes of superiority & entitlement.The story's well paced,engrossing & harsh at times.

Sure this is not done in your traditional animation but it has a charm all it's own.

It looks like they are blurring the lines between motion comic and animation with this one, but the sad thing is the best motion comic in the world will just look like really cheaply animated show. Marvel may be better off leaving lower expectations for their motion comics.

It's a motion comic, they've gotten a lot better since Astonishing XMen. Unlike a regular animated adaptation it will be the exact run of that first arc in the series. Using the pages already done by Romita Jr and bringing life to it.

Don't understand why everyones complainig, yes the animation isn't that good, but the story is. I usually focus on the story being told than focusing on visuals. Another point marvel has had short series because they didn't have the backing that DC has with time warner. @Sydpart2 You really can't compare an animated comic to an animation made by Bruce Timm. Although, the artwork in this comic is better than the artwork in the comic of All Star Superman. He looks like he's made of clay. Marvel Knights Animation is there animated comic line. They also released the Iron Man and X-men comics on DVD.

Marvel Knights Animation only produces motion comics. It's cool and all, but there's a reason it never came on American television and that's because no network wants to pay for something like this. Frankly, Marvel should be giving it away instead of making people buy it. It can barely be considered a cartoon.
