Muslims are convinced of the superiority of their culture, and obsessed with the inferiority of their power. As cheesy as it may sound, they do hate us because of our freedoms. They see us as a pluralistic society (means we accept more than one idea) and they are not only offended by it but thinks it will corrupt their society as well and deliberately cause their children to become like Westerners (indulge in decadent behavior such as prostitution, gambling, alcoholism, etc) and discard Islam.

@44warjunkie First of all, there is no such thing as "Muslim Culture". There are a lot of differences even between arabs, not to talk of persians, semites, asians, blacks that make up the majority of the muslim pop. Secondly, arabs do tend to believe they're superior- you got that one, and certainly a few radical people hate western culture for its "immorality", but the vast majority either do no care or LOVE western culture- the clothes, music, attitudes etc.
