Seriously?  The Russian Empire didn't exist until 1721. The earlist history of the Russians in the ninth century, who at the time were just a bunch of random cities.

well if we all go back far enough no humans where here then when we came to be no one was in usa, russia, japan or anywhere else other than africa then (scientifically) we expanded out even religious wise we all started from one place no matter what you belief you have. so all in all IT JUST A GAME. not to mention that the planet that we play on (unless selected) isnt even earth.

Good review. I had no experience with civilization games before this one, but i seen it there on the shelf at the rental store so decided to give it a shot, and was hooked instantly lol Gonna go buy it tomorrow. BTW, I never give in their threats either, unless they want something that i find insignificant like alphabet. I am all too happy to teach democracy though, because I prefer to try and win through peaceful means as apposed to war. One game i didn't get to modern until 1960 due to war lol

this game is actually a lot diffrent then the pc version and it is hard to explain how since i havent played it in so long but you can beat the game in domination,economic,space,and finally the whole world order un type thing LOL. it is still fun but a lot more restrictive yet easier than the pc. they are like totaly diffrent yet the same game LOL and this game has extra you dont get on the pc like presents and being able to see what monuments and characters you have unlocked
