For those who discuss who was a better singer Mohd Rafi or Kishore Kumar I will refer to

the rare song "Ajab hai dastan teri ai zindagi" from film Shararat where Mohd.Rafi sings for Kishore Kumar. Mohd Rafi is the only playback singer sings for another playback singer.

Rafi wasdefinitely one of the all time greats,but Kishor was GOD..that versatility,that golden voice can never be repeated..n yes it is true that rt from the time Kishor da left acting n took up playback singing full time (post Aradhna),there was no one even near him..Bollywood had only two real SUPERSTARS from 70s till date,Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh,and both had ALL their songs recorded in Kishor's voice..

im sorry if i sound harsh but thats a load of crap , the only reason kishore had a few hits was because Rafi sahab left singing, he went on a spiritual journey called hajj, he was begged by all the music directors to come back and when he did, it was again his reign , he had hit after hit. Maybe you seem to forget the hits untill he passed away because kishore is ur personal choice. i have nothing against kishore but he himself like all the other singers admitted tht Rafi saab ws best!
