Smaller also saves weight.

1. Less material to produce the sprocket

2. Smaller sprockets = smaller chain size

Smaller sprockets are stronger too. Much more resistant to bending.

hey, whats an ideal ratio setup to run for trails/dirt? If i run a 37T sprocket, what should i do about my rear hub?.....its an old school suzue sealed and id rather not have to relace in a new hub with a cassete. Would a 13 or 14T freewheel work with a 37T sprocket?? If so, 1/8 or 3/32??? Thanx!
