  • Finally if you got it working, don't forget you need a sample loaded into the a slot for the kp3 to actually send the midi note. So load anything, or record an empty sample and then you will be able to use it to launch the tracks.

Hope that helps, if I didn't understand your question or this didn't work, feel free to ask.

    Have a good Sessioning!

  • 2. Make sure that in the session64 plugin, you have devices set to input from the kp3 and the output set to midiyoke 1.

    3. In the session64 vst windows, make sure you have selected kp3 sound at the bottom, just above the piano keys.

    4. Don't forget you need the hold button on the kaoss pad on, or else you won't see the red lights.

  • Hi, I don't own ableton live 6 so I haven't tried it there to know if there's a problem. However, if you can make the green ones move while in ctrl mode you are definitely sending midi to ableton. So try this:

    1. make sure that in preferences in ableton, in the midi/sync options you have the track an remote options enabled only for the 1st midi yoke input and that the output to kaoss pad is disabled.

  • hi man

    thanx for the tutorial.

i don't figure out the last part: i'm able to make "green lights" move (shift+8), but i cannot send any midi note on "kaoss normal mode"...i mean, i cannot launch any clips (and the Midi Track indicator doesn't light up at all). in other words i cannot make move the red lights ones...

I use ableton live 6 on win xp: is that a problem? is there something i miss?

i will be glad if you could help me.

    thanx
