Back in the day when video games where insanely hard, this one was insanely long and frustrating. That's old school, you beat it in one run and thats that.

That was the problem with moster vs monster fights in this game -- it didn't matter what attack you used on opposing monsters; it wouldn't change the way they moved, or what attacks they were capable of using on you. You breathe on Gezora, he closes and paralyzes you with his tentacle. You punch Gezora, he closes on you and paralyzes you with his tentacle. You kick Gezora, guess what he does? You smack him with your tail, he buys you a beer at B.J.'s Brewhouse, or does something else...

God damn good good ol' memories, I remember I was about 6-7 in the time and my two brother where 9,13 and my sister was 11, and I remember we will take turns every time we finish a level or die hehe...*sigh* I wish I could go back 20 years ago just for one day...

@liandriunreal actually its not the computer...the game itself lags like a son of a bitch when playing on the actual console...because of so much shit that appears on the screen...so i does not matter how good your computer is...it's still going to play like this....oh and i have a quad core processor...i believe i'm good.

I agree that when i played this when i was little, i was like holy crap a godzilla game so i loved it as a child. I now realize as an adult that this game is too dang repetitive.

it's repetitive and laggy. I don't know if it's my NES, but that game is so laggy. godzilla just walks straight through the levels getting hit by planes in the face, and mothra is in the lower left corner all the time, on account of being the most sissy-ass monster ever imagined. If you try to intercept enemy fire with your "shot", it actually hurts you. so if there's a laser coming at you (and four fucking planes, and UFOs flying aroung, and a couple missiles), there's nothing you can do.
