Azen was a pretty polished Link main back in '06, but waveshining THAT much and THAT well is pretty hard to come by, even nowadays.

Couple that amazing waveshining with all of his very well-timed and well-placed finishers, and I'd say that chillin deserved this match entirely.

...unless azen had the reflex and balls to gimp him on his last stock at 2:26 (nair -> jump -> nair/upb) - although I seriously doubt that I would have. xD

brawl is just for fun. if you want to get competitive about a game its not the one. No combos, and too slow. melee is both fun and competitive. Because of things like l-canceling, shffl, wavedash, different great combos with different characters and whatnot. the amount of technical skill it takes is amazing, and makes it one of my favorite games. its not that brawl sucks, it just doesnt hold up to melee standards and people are mad about that.

well i agree with the lack of knowledge, however i know how to do this stuff. i find wavedashing like jumping too much in Street fighte, eventually you'll get smash..or shouryukened in the face whichever one comes first. i know i'm no newb.
