WKBW Buffalo 7 Sign-off September 1987

From the US stations just across the border I sometimes saw a sign-off graphic that had a world map with a U.S. flag right on top of the USSR. After the US anthem played, 'O Canada' played with Canadian flag on the map--again right on top of the USSR!

Anyone remember this from the 80s? Talk about geopolitics.

Someone needs to find the older WKBW -TV sign off clips from the 1970's with the Television Code Clip and The Clip off The two Giant Antennas.

i'm guessing this is a friday due to the oprah and geraldo promos being for monday...altered states...lol, i remember when wivb, wutv, and wkbw used to show old movies on saturday nights after the 11pm news..my mom always went out on sat nites, and i remember waking up late one such saturday to my babysitter watching an old horror film ...i was 3 or 4 then and still remember being scared out of my wits from the old music and graphics...
