In this case, the V8 R8 doesn't have impressive torque (about 320 lb-ft) and AWD doesn't help for straight line speed - along with a NA engine compared to your force induction. It's in its element in the twisties thanks to good weight distribution.
In essence both vehicles certainly have their strengths/cons.
The V8 R8 isn't a bad car either, pure power isn't its forte (looks to V10) for off the line.
I would love to see the guy's face thinking "ohh fck, a massive SUV just killed my $100k sports car!!". Maybe you should have given him a few blocks so he had the chance to catch up and not be so ashamed. By the way, nice 0-60 timing feature!
The old Audi R8(4.2L V8) accelerates about the same as a stock SRT8 (~4.8 vs. ~4.6 seconds from 0-60). The newer V10 (5.2L V10) version is better posting a 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, which is still slower than the Jeep in this video. So if it was the V10 version it was probably not racing, if it was the older V8 version it probably was.

but look the Panamera 4S beat you.... the R8's faster than that 0-60's roughly 4.3 - 4.2 seconds. im pretty sure your Jeep cant run that. its a fast ridee but he aint racin.

I raced this R8 for 5 consecutive lights. Look at the stock SRT8 vs the Supercharged one. You will understand the difference between a 4.6 and a 3.5 sec car.

Who are you trying to kid man? The jeep srt 8 claims maybe sub 5 seconds 0-60, not sub 4 seconds 0-60. Also, the R8 is around 4.7 seconds 0-60, which means that from this video, that Audi didn't have a legit driver, or something else is being manipulated in some way. How the heck does a claimed 5 second or so jeep do 3 something seconds? Yeah, 2 seconds or so is not something minor, that's like 100-200 more ft lbs of torque different. NO WAY! R8 would win hands down if it had a proper driver!
dude i wanna put a squires single turbo, and they say that on the srt8 motor i can get, with meth inejction, front mount intercooler, and 9-10 psi, between 220-270 AWHP, so putting the numbers to the crank at almost 700. why didnt u turbocharge? just curious though, no hating against superchargers or the fact u supercharged, just want ur opinion to help me out a little.thanks bro
@blacksrt8cherokee Most of SRT8 owners go with the Vortec because its a complete system which makes great power in the top end to help prevent driveline damage at the launch(unlike twin screws), and more importantly the Vortec is very dependable as many guys run them on their DD's. Plus, you can remove the Vortec and go back to stock if you want to sell it at some point. I think I about covered the bases... You can find more info on the SRT8 forum, check it out.

The Audi was totally ready. We had at least 4 similar races within 5 minutes, same results.
This is the difference between a 4.7s car and a 3.7 to 3.9s car
