I would never use a radical on the road because they are race cars with race car suspension and it doesnt matter how fast or fun your car is when you get out with a broken back and neck
Nice job blowing through the stop sign a-hole. My friends dad used to drive like that in his 911. At least he did until his twin (another I don't have to obey signs cause I'm special type of guy.) came from the other way. One is in a wheelchair and one is dead.
Ma è la strada per andare a Seveso :D !! Troppo bella sta auto, ne voglio acquistare una al più presto anch'io, magari una SR3 usata, verrò presto a fare un giro da voi x vedere cs offrite ;) !!
A street legal sr8 is absolutely impossible in France! Too much regulations; By the way " Europe"is just a politician delirium, there is no harmonization at all between countries.
Bloody nice car. First car I'd buy if I won the lottery. To all you wondering about the shifting and the steering wheel on the wrong side, an option on the radical website is to have it left hand drive and the paddles swapped
When I got my licence I was taught STOP at stop signs and not overtake over double lines. The road rules where you drive must only be a suggestion !!!!
Last weekend at Monza racetrack we topped 302 Km/h... not bad considering it has A LOT more drag than a normal road car due to high downforce aerodynamics... the Caparo SHOULD be faster but it's certainly an overall less developed product, which means much more problems when using it "for FUN" which is... at the end of the day... the main reason to buy a Radical.
It's "cheap" (a lot cheaper than every porsche, ferrari or supercar), faster (A LOT), and much more practical to use on track
@fromgermany79 very good question. i think the radical is alot less expensive to buy, or build, maintain and repair how ever i think the caparo still has a better hp/weight ratio (I COULD BE WRONG ON THAT) overall i personally would take the radical myself.
This is mirrored, in the UK you drive on the left, and the steering wheel is on the right... not that I noticed it, cause what caught my attention was how he upshifted with the left paddle.
@corotor12345 Problem is, the red "E" is not mirrored, nor the gear indicator (well, the thingy that shows you in what gear you are), or even the "R" in the middle of the carbon cluster, which is itself in the middle of the cockpit.
Was not aware these where street legal....unless its "questionable street legal". I might have to sell my GTR and my dog, and buy one of these. Especially after I saw one at the track today! It defiantly turns some heads (don't even pretend you don't want to look I say).
They're pretty sick. Never had the chance to drive one, but I have seen them up close, in operation. They actually use Hayabusa motorcycle engines. The SR8's combine 2 engines into one.
@adrenalynejunky like 40 grand man, it´s just amazing how a machine like this can cost 10 times less than cars that are half as fast.. lightweight cars are the way to go!! radical, caterhams, ariels, v8 miatas, they all rock!
Yeah, that's actually cool, i love them all, the funniest thing is, that Radical, Caterham, Ariel together weights like 599 GTO, and it's all together less expensive than Ferrari, and more fun to drive.
@2jzgtejza80 I dunno about more "Fun" to drive, they're in a different world than the 599 sure, but you cant really compare open cab racers to a performance road car. Now if you wanna compare open cabs I'm SURE the Ferrari F333 will blow any of those away (Minus the fact it itself is in a whole different level of performance due to it being a race car) but still open cab.
buona idea "oscurare" il contachilometri digitale che prima era visibile nell' angolo in basso a sx , comunque si capisce ancora benissimo che i limiti di velocità non vengono rispettati
I would never use a radical on the road because they are race cars with race car suspension and it doesnt matter how fast or fun your car is when you get out with a broken back and neck
