  • I would never use a radical on the road because they are race cars with race car suspension and it doesnt matter how fast or fun your car is when you get out with a broken back and neck

  • why are the paddles backwards?

  • why is the up shift paddle on the left???

  • but isnt it too low to be road legal? and how much does it cost?

  • do these cars have reverse? could you use this car everyday if you wanted to? could it handle the daily commute?

  • Nice job blowing through the stop sign a-hole. My friends dad used to drive like that in his 911. At least he did until his twin (another I don't have to obey signs cause I'm special type of guy.) came from the other way. One is in a wheelchair and one is dead.

  • @Neuguy69 Stop at a stop sign? lol! It's Italy, nobody stops at stop signs!

  • seems very uncomfortable for road use with that race car like suspension

  • how much is this car

  • i see you do some good noise in the neighberhood

  • 1st gear is supposed to be used for the run up acceleration, not for cruising..

  • i own one of these.

    on forza 3

    ;D

  • Ma è la strada per andare a Seveso :D !! Troppo bella sta auto, ne voglio acquistare una al più presto anch'io, magari una SR3 usata, verrò presto a fare un giro da voi x vedere cs offrite ;) !!

  • holy piss that thing is fast as balls

  • people forget that street legal usual has to do with safety restraints, proper signals and lights and mainly Emissions

  • his padels are the wrong way round

  • 1:28 Ignored stop sign

  • @caspertjuuh

Good job Columbo. Slap the cuffs on him.

  • @caspertjuuh Why would he stop here, nobody can cross his way as there's a railroad on the right with the barriers down.

  • A street legal sr8 is absolutely impossible in France! Too much regulations; By the way " Europe"is just a politician delirium, there is no harmonization at all between countries.

    Fantastic car, congratulations, take care...

  • fake

  • Best car concept ever! ... now if only they could do a budget version - I'd get one in a heartbeat.

  • Car is street legal but driver is not =D

  • Bloody nice car. First car I'd buy if I won the lottery. To all you wondering about the shifting and the steering wheel on the wrong side, an option on the radical website is to have it left hand drive and the paddles swapped

  • i think i had an orgasm at 00:40 ...

  • When I got my licence I was taught STOP at stop signs and not overtake over double lines. The road rules where you drive must only be a suggestion !!!!

  • one word,,,,,,BALLISTIC :O

  • Certo che ne hai collezionate di infrazioni in pochi minuti... :)

  • choice of the owner of the car...

  • why is he upshifting with the usual downshift paddle?

  • Last weekend at Monza racetrack we topped 302 Km/h... not bad considering it has A LOT more drag than a normal road car due to high downforce aerodynamics... the Caparo SHOULD be faster but it's certainly an overall less developed product, which means much more problems when using it "for FUN" which is... at the end of the day... the main reason to buy a Radical.

It's "cheap" (a lot cheaper than every porsche, ferrari or supercar), faster (A LOT), and much more practical to use on track

  • @MrUkRacing check out the scooter rider at 2:18..he couldnt believe his eyes lol

  • @MrUkRacing The V8 Atom would be a nice match up on the track :-)

  • topspeed?

  • hai le palette all inverso? sinistra sale destra scende?

  • looks like a bumpy ride

  • Cazzo !!!!! Italia provincia di Bergamo !!!!

  • Which car is better: Caparo T1 or Radical SR8 LM?

  • @fromgermany79 very good question. i think the radical is alot less expensive to buy, or build, maintain and repair how ever i think the caparo still has a better hp/weight ratio (I COULD BE WRONG ON THAT) overall i personally would take the radical myself.

  • SMART on 2:15 looks big on here xD

  • This is mirrored, in the UK you drive on the left, and the steering wheel is on the right... not that I noticed it, cause what caught my attention was how he upshifted with the left paddle.

  • @corotor12345 Problem is, the red "E" is not mirrored, nor the gear indicator (well, the thingy that shows you in what gear you are), or even the "R" in the middle of the carbon cluster, which is itself in the middle of the cockpit.

  • @GTtuner56

That presents a problem now doesn't it?

  • @corotor12345 Well, it just looks f*cked up. lol

  • such a poser ;D

wouldn't drive that beast without a helmet..

  • This is Italy.

  • why is the up shift paddle on the left? can some one please tell me? seems very strange for it to be in that locaton

  • @xghostxgto yeah.. that's weird. When I saw at first, I thought the image was mirrored.. but it's not...

  • @xghostxgto becasue they are made in england an right hand drive

  • Why don't they use a mic protection (to prevent distorsion caused by wind) in open cockpit like that one...?? :(

  • his upshift levver on his flappy paddle gear box is on the left, shouldnt it be for downshifting?

  • gas mileage...?

  • @Blackhawk9188 Who cares?

  • @r1wantone I would think someone that bought it would care. I'm just curious.

  • YES BUT IF YOU PUSH THIS CAR TOO MUCH ALL PIECES BREAK LOOSE AND YOU HAVE TO REPLACE ALMOST EVERYTHING TRANNYS,BRAKES WHEELS.NOT VERY WISE.

  • @masterpatric07 Ya, right!

  • My god that sees like a rocky ride...I thought there was a way to soften it up a bit...

  • Why are the paddles opposite of the normal setup for paddle shift cars?

  • se vi posso dare un consiglio togliete immediatamente questo video

  • Comment removed

  • awesome sound and awesome car!

  • every single car in this video is an old ghetto wagon. that seems like a really boring car location. no variety or m3s or corvettes or anything...

  • From 1:06 to 1:25, is the car tramlining due to a stiff LSD, or is that suspension response and corrections that I see?

  • italy

  • Wait what, Left paddle to shift up!? Correct me if im wrong.

  • @Bsatt i think ur right. id over rev the thing in a second with it on that side. id instantly forget lol. thats stupid

  • I think this is the first paddle shiffted car ive ever seen where up change is set on the left instead of the right.. personal preference i guess

  • over a double white line and ignored a stop sign all in one video.his car is street legal maybe but he is not !

  • oh man I would like to see OPPs facial expression when they see me pass by in one of these on HWY401 :))

  • does the car have a windshield? I'm pretty sure it can't be street legal without a windshield or helmet.

  • @GuruMarv

Yes it street legal, Quad Bikes have no windshield and it not a requirement to wear a helmet either, they are also street legal.

  • 460

  • How much HP do these make

  • @sundinjeff

    450hp

  • Was not aware these where street legal....unless its "questionable street legal". I might have to sell my GTR and my dog, and buy one of these. Especially after I saw one at the track today! It defiantly turns some heads (don't even pretend you don't want to look I say).

  • semplicemente fantastica!!!!!!!!! =)

  • Any Idea where this was filmed? Looks southern European to me.

  • @LiamE69 it's in Italy.

  • italy

  • Haha Does one of them big fancy buttons work the radio?

  • Fuckkkkkk, that is fantastic hahah wow

  • Shift paddles are backwards?

    That'd put me off big-time

  • same, i could not stand that.

  • this car is street legal X_x no way :O XD

  • @adrenalynejunky Yes they are truly street legal race cars

  • god damnit :O it must be sick :D lol

  • They're pretty sick. Never had the chance to drive one, but I have seen them up close, in operation. They actually use Hayabusa motorcycle engines. The SR8's combine 2 engines into one.

  • holy shit ok 2 engines into one.... it says it all damnit LOLLL

  • @adrenalynejunky

its a 2.6 litre, V8 that can do 12'000 RPM!

    the thing is absolutely nuts

  • and how can cost a basic SR8 ??

  • @adrenalynejunky like 40 grand man, it´s just amazing how a machine like this can cost 10 times less than cars that are half as fast.. lightweight cars are the way to go!! radical, caterhams, ariels, v8 miatas, they all rock!

  • @gonzalo85

Yeah, that's actually cool, i love them all, the funniest thing is, that Radical, Caterham, Ariel together weights like 599 GTO, and it's all together less expensive than Ferrari, and more fun to drive.

  • @2jzgtejza80

    you forgot lotus! ^.^

  • @2jzgtejza80 I dunno about more "Fun" to drive, they're in a different world than the 599 sure, but you cant really compare open cab racers to a performance road car. Now if you wanna compare open cabs I'm SURE the Ferrari F333 will blow any of those away (Minus the fact it itself is in a whole different level of performance due to it being a race car) but still open cab.

  • @2jzgtejza80

they should ship some in Canada !

  • @2jzgtejza80

    agreed!
