I think it is not youtube that fucks up sound quality . Mostly it's from air circulation that cameras mic gets or it is ust bad camera ... Try to cover mic with material that doesn't block sound , or try out some other cameras , something like SONY HDR-XR520 . It is expensive but it should do the job .
