his toenail is never gonna grow back... which id be fine with... if you remove it partially, it will grow back like my procedure...mine grew back in 8 months went back too the same amount of pain.

Hey ive had my ingrown toe nail for 6 years and it still is not bothering me but i guess if you really hate having it you should get surgery even know once you have a ingrown toe nail pretty much your going to have one for the rest of your life.

I got the left nail part of my right toenail surgically extracted n the pain sets in 2 hours later. having the ingrown part removed n the core killed is the best way for it not to grow back in that area. I watched this vid n I cringed a bit but I hope the guy is doing fine. Ouchy for the part where the dock removed the nail bed n damn I think you can see the bone O.O

I had mine done 2 weeks ago, kept the nail but cut both sides. the whole procedure was absolutely pain free. The shot was the only thing that was uncomfortable but didnt hurt all that much, just a pinch. Literally the next day it was pain free and was able to play basketball and shower with absolutely no pain or discomfert. I highly recomend the procedure to anyone who has an ingrown.

You know i have to sympathize with the person having the toenail removed. I had it done myself 4 months ago. I did not have the entire nail removed just the top of the nail. this video make look brutal but quit honestly the worst part was having my toe numbed. I agree with thesteffie in that you look down and the doc is digging around and you feel nothing.

I had an ingrown nail problem my self, but what they did was cut some meat of the side it was perfect for a few years but recent years. After that just some minor problems but it was fine.

Not trying to say that this was a wrong choice or anything just sharing my experience.

They took the whole toenail off all the way down so it won't grow back. Cause your toenail doesn't just stop at the cuticle.
