Their water is iodine contaminated, but it´s said it has no harmful effects for health if you are adult. Babies instead should not drink this water. It is not that dangerous, but I´m still worried of course :( I donated for Japan via the Red Cross. Normal people like me cannot do more than donating, praying and hoping the best for Japan. I´m impressed about the calmness Japanese have.

Joseon certainly had nothing like the Genroku period in literature and art. Show me the Korean equivalent of Genji M from the Heian. Japan adapted Confucianism to its own culture. Joseon just applied it with the force of a tyrant. It was Chinese culture Japan was hungry for. Joseon was merely a conduit.

But she will stay for a few weeks only and my husband and I will fly to Japan in May this year. So it will be very soon. @spencermel My husbands family lives in Chiba prefecture, it´s180 or 200 km away from the Fukushima Power Plant. Their water is iodine contaminated, but it´s said it has no harmful effects for health if you are adult. Babies instead should not drink this water. It is not that dangerous, but I´m still worried of course :( I donated for Japan via the Red Cross. Normal people like me cannot do more than donating, praying and hoping the best for Japan. I´m impressed about the calmness Japanese have.

Korean government didn't believe it was necessary to strenghten military at the time. The second reason Japan was able to sneak in and invaded the territories, there were internal disputes between the different Korean classes. It was sad what happened with Korea but something Koreans proud of the Koreans' history is because that the Korean leaders have never steanked into neighbor nations to steal and distory.
