Reznor has not stopped making great music, and has never EVER sold out. I like this. I like his wife's vocals. At least she's no Yoko. He's not OVER PRODUCING her. He's simply just jamming with his buddy Atticus and his wife, and making fucking awesome songs again. I love it.
One of THE MOST original acts I've heard in a while. @:50 and @1:12 you can tell that that is Trents trademark guitar sound, I love it. And for all the people with nothing good to say about HTDA you probably couldnt play an E chord if your life depended on it. Hope to hear more in the future from the band.

@dominicarjona Trent Reznor has heard of every single one of those bands,and actually, if you care to check, Peter Christopherson of the band Coil,created the broken movie,and Coil is where Trent stole the name "HTDA" from.
Also Coil is responsible for the more interesting remixes on Fixed.
My guess as to why you have never heard of the rest of the bands is that you likely stick to mainstream charicatures of good music,which is all T.R. is, a mass produced cash in on industrial rock.

@dominicarjona Trent Reznor has heard of every single one of those bands,and actually, if you care to check, Peter Christopherson of the band Coil,created the broken movie,and Coil is where Trent stole the name "HTDA" from.
Also Coil is responsible for the more interesting remixes on Fixed.
My guess as to why you have never heard of the rest of the bands is that you likely stick to mainstream charicatures of good music,which is all T.R. is, a mass produced cash in on industrial rock.

Alright. The Slip pissed me off. HTDA is more like what Nine Inch Nails was, closer to its prime than anything since With Teeth. I mean, the recent stuff was mostly excellent, but not NIN excellent.

Okay, it sounds a bit like Closer or Only. Closer was a masterpiece. I wavered between hating Only and tolerating it. Fur-Lined isn't quite on the same level as Closer but it's still a pretty damn good piece of work.
Stupid lyrics? Really? I won't argue it's fine poetry but the lyrics are more than serviceable. Great, even.
