There are famous black singers, though. But, it's all about appearance now...or having some trick or special gimic...or sexy dancers. That's what really bugs me -- that everyone is wearing less clothes and backed up by sexy dancers. Talent is overshadowed by trying to have a sexy appearance. It's annoying! I remember reading that when the Von Trapp family came to America they refused to wear what they considered suggestive clothing.... They were famour for their TALENT.

Some very talented people get criticized for not being skinny enough or pretty enough. It's just sad. I am hoping that appearance will quit selling and talent will be appreciated again.

If she had been discovered many years ago, or made a beautiful song herself, I bet she had been signed in a heart beat. America blows at some parts, but its filled with talent. I'm well aware that there is an abundance of talent in America, but time and time again the ones who catch a break are as I said young, light-skinned if not white, and thin. Sad to say I've never been to NY and that even if I go there now, I'll never catch her singing there now. She melted my heart on AGT by singing my favorite song, now I"m hooked watching everything I can find of her. TRUE, RAW TALENT!!!!!!
