  • This video is not pathetic. You must be pretty heartless to say that. People try to express themselves the best they can. And no I am not from IOM or had money there.

  • IoMG are getting slated because they messed up regulating the bank.. then they played cynical games with their "Scheme of Arrangement". They stand between depositors and justice so they are bound to get it in the neck..

  • Well Done Nick, for a briliant video and excellent words to the song.

With people like you fighting our cause, I feel sure we will get our money back.......one day

  • A great video Nick. Well done on this and your performance on the plinth.

The Manx government's blunder was responsible for the loss of savers' funds - it is up to the Manx government to ensure the funds are returned.

  • Well done to you and all the others for these videos!!!!! You are getting the message across.....good luck everyone. I hope you get your hard earned money back.

  • As usual Nick you have done an excellent job.

    Expat13

  • Fantastic Nick! I'm so proud of you. I will promote it far and wide, and my thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost so much.

Have you promoted this with press releases?

  • What can I say - brilliant song and video. Let's hope that while the world hums the catchy tune they can also think about the villians that inspired it...

  • Fantastic Nick - really catchy and great video to go with it. Really gets the message across.

Lets hope that the people responsible for this whole fiasco start to hear people humming this tune and even when they are in the lift!!

Until they own up to their mistake and give all depositors 100% of their money back now all I can say is Don't Bank on the Isle of Man - if you want to see your money again!!

We are not going away so IOM watch out!!

  • So IOM is now claiming that the IMF says their financial sector is "well-regulated and supervised, and offers a high level of compliance with global standards." WTF!

If the IOM represents good regulation then the world is screwed.

I wonder if the IMF would be willing to put half of its assets, unprotected, in the IOM's well regulated banks.

IMF - how about a loan to pay back the KSFIOM victims? You know IOM is good for the money.

Yet more spin from that strange little island, I expect.

  • Brilliant! Well done. I hope all of the "pigs" involved in this get what is coming to them.

  • Excellent Nick, very well done indeed - this deserves a mass email link! Well done on the 4th Plinth too, it came over really well.

    Ice

  • nick should get a record deal with this...isle of man really did mess it up and our lives

  • Great Nick!

Arigato for helping us so much.

Don't Bank on the Isle of Man!

  • Well Done Nick! May the message spread far and wide.

  • Fantastic video and song. Let's hope its catchy nature causes a whole new group of people to start asking what happened to our money.

  • Astonishing effort, well done! Not only an accurate portrayal but entertaining and professional too. Have you tried releasing this, potential earner and FANTASTIC publicity opportunity, globally?

  • Fantastic effort Nick, shame on all those IOM grocers and our unelected Prime Minister and his mates.

  • Fantastic - your song says it all so well. Hope it gets the publicity it deserves - and we all get our hard earned savings back. Keep fighting for 100% - We won't give up!

  • Great video and shows the IOM gov in their true light - hope the world see and hear your song and the politicians finally agree they will sort out the mess and give us 100% of our hard earned savings back! Well done

  • The problem with this is that, whilst I agree HMG is at fault.. the IoM had the money and lost it.. it's no good then saying to me that I need to go after HMG.. they just say "You need to talk the the IoM".. So all I can do is hound the IoM government! Tony Brown said "The Isle of Man takes full responsibility".. but then he doesn't..

If I lend my spade to my neighbour and his cousin steals it, it's no good my neighbour saying "You need to talk to my cousin"!!

  • Great song, well done. Don't let the bastards get you down.

  • Terrific song and cartoon. Lets hope these thieves in high places get their comeuppance. In the meantime Don't Bank on the Isle of Man.

  • What a fantastic video. Your song is great and the animation to go with it tells the story of KSFIOM brilliantly. Very well done and good luck on the plinth.

  • Well done, a great video.

We will never give up.100% return of our savings NOW.

    NO COMPROMISE

  • A great video with a powerful, hard-hitting message. Well done.

  • This is better than the US airline protest song & I would not be surprised if it puts you in the charts!

The time will come when the IoM government will have to turn that sand back into gold & pay back the dispossessed depositors all that they have lost through the failure of the bank's directors & the Financial Supervision Commission to take due dilligence with the money that was put in their trust.

  • Well done to everyone involved in making this video. The lyrics and cartoon are very poignant, and rightly show the politicians behind this corruption in a very bad light.

  • Great voice.

  • Fabulous NIck! I'll be there on the 12th. I do hope this song gets the right publicity to put the point across to mass media - it is a great song with all the right words. We need to get noticed and this is one way.

  • Wonderful. We can't wait for others to promote i, we have to do it ourselves. Send it to all your friends. See you in Trafalgar Square.

  • Basket case, getting less mad by the minute listening to this brilliant video by Nick. Hope it gets the same publicity the American Airlines protest song achieved which was viewed all around the world on You Tube.

I agree with the above comments. Your song says it all. Good luck on the 4th plinth. Lets hope we gets lots of media attention to our plight and a good turn out from depositors who have lost so much during these last 11 months. My mood has been uplifted by your song. Great!

  • Brilliant Nick! Manx Alchemy says it all. See you on the 4th plinth.
