@justa16thnote oooo. sorry if i came off as mean. but i just cant stand the people who keep aguing that kefka would rape sephiroth and stuff like that.

for the record, i like sephiroth (esp with crisis core prequel showing him before insanity kicked in). i dont like kefka because he looks like a very, very gay clown. but i never played ff6. so i admit my opinion is bias. but sephiroths theme(s) (# 2 being TCBTP) are better than kefkas imo. dancing mad is great too though

It's perfectly fine. FFVII fanboys, or more specifically Sephiroth fanboys, have no idea what evil really is until they've played and beaten FFVI.

I like Sephiroth too, but he bullshits around way too much. Kefka gets to the point and doesn't dance around being snobby. If someone's in his way, he'll just kill them... or kick them off a floating continent.

(not from ff7 but other places, like anime and manga b/c im a nerd) and sephiroth's bullshitting around...meh to a certain extent i agree. he got things done (before and after he became evil, but there are times where he did not take care of business when he should have. but in his defense he probably didn't consider cloud & company as a threat. thanks for not blindly backing kefka and trying to bash sephiroth.

Kefka's theme is called Dancing Mad because the time signature is in a 4/4 5/4 alternating fashion. That's in a lot of Latin-esque dances hence the name and also his state of mind.

Yeah, I'm an impartial Final Fantasy fan. I have no favorite Final Fantasy that I deem the absolute best and no other shall surpass unlike many others. I never cared for any of the FFVII characters that weren't in the main game so I can't say much about it.

@justa16thnote zack was in the main game, if you go to the secret room in shinra mansion after you come out of the lifestream it shows a cutscene of zack helping cloud, and he was in the parts where sephiroth showed cloud stuff about nebelheim. Angeal was the original owner of the buster sword, he gave it to zack just before he died and zack did the same to cloud.

i know thats not the origin of dancing mad, i just found it funny.

i only played ff7 and 8 so they are better in my bias book

@justa16thnote Sephiroth only 'bullshits around' in the terrible prequels, sequels and spinoffs of FFVII. In the original game, he's very straightforward, never really talks to the party at all except in a flashback, and straight up kills the main characters love interest. Not saying he's a better villain, but he's only the preening drama queen he's known as now in the spinoffs...
