if anyone watches mini miglia races youll actually see the way they behave, they slide out like rear wheel drive cars, watch an in car camera from one of those races youll see what i mean, its cus of the brute pace of the cars combined with there short wheel base, this bloke just didnt catch it in time to save it
If you watch carefully, it cant be lift off oversteer, as he is on the brak for a second or so before it spun. Its to much rear brake bias which happens in a mini all the time. I have a Vtec mini in a round front and didnt need to extend the front wings. If you spend a little extra time putting it in you can do it. Evo driver doesnt like his gearbox. Cant he even heel and toe on the shift...
i dont see why you dont like the 90mm extension on the front it doesnt make that much difference trust me i know the guy that specializes in honda minis.
yeah i love vtec, but i have to agree with rosesforthedead7 the evo was modified and it doesnt sound like its going its best and it is also one of the best track cars, so i doubt the mini could beat it, but on a straight VTEC YO!
Im a big fan of Mini VTECs in fact im building one myself.. but it doesnt sound like the Evo is pushing very hard... i rather the Mini to win but i reckon the Evo could have passed him easily

nice mini, but i prefer the rear engine conversion as i think the extra few inches on the front is quite noticeable up close

The mini tops out 135mph@9400rpm and with the greater top speed and torque of the evo once the mini gets 80 he reels me in (driver of the mini)
