I haven't seen the leaderboard lately, but I hope they took it down. The guy said you did this for demonstration purposes. It's very cool and all, but it probably did ruin the top spot for the leaderboard. I'd say just keep on trying to get Capcom to remove it, if it's even possible for them to do so with the Wii.

Yes, it would be annoying and takes away the fun to have someone bombard the top list like that. But the thing is that 2800 - 7271 screens already take the fun away. I mean wtf? Has someone really done that 7271 fair? Even with one screen passed every 10 seconds that would take 20 hours - without a single miss!!

What I find extremely stupid is that Nintendo didn't provide any local hiscore lists! If the only thing you can compete against are the geekiest guys in the world, where's the point?

Wow...you actually got a lot of backlash here...it's OK to cheat through an offline game, and nobody would give a damn that you had never died because of that.

But when one begins to hack stuff that is never their own, expect the worst to hit you...like a next day record zapping, possible banning from Nintendo WFC, or the sudden inability to use any homebrew (like Nintendo releasing a new update to delete the channel).

Nintendo would have the phone numbers of all of Capcom's departments, and vise-versa. It's good business practice to do so, and I doubt Nintendo are a dis-organised company.

All that Nintendo would have to do is phone the person responsible for server management at Capcom, and tell them to rid the highscore. Simple.
