Dobermans are so vocal. Our 4 year old does the same thing... just have to say, "who's it" and she is off to the window. Our Bella does not have her ears cropped. Thought it would be too painful since our vet said that the way her ears were, they probably wouldn't stand up anyway. She is the cutest and most loyal dog we ever owned.

yep i did the same with my doby, you can dock the tail if you like but cropping the ears is very cruel to the dog.
