  • I like this vid, but i cant sew. Could you tell me how or make a vid? I cant see it clearly. Also i subscribed.

  • I've never heard of this. Looks like an easy way to pass time.

But, why isn't it called "Finger Crocheting"?

I can do both, so that that more crochet, than actual knitting.

  • It's called both, but more accurately Finger Crochet. Somehow people like saying "Finger Knitting" more. I always learned it that way and it got stuck ;)

  • Have you seen the latest rope scarf?I guess they are made in the same way-They are superb!

  • That sounds really awesome! I will have to Google that. Thanks for the tip :)

  • Do you know what you call this sort of finger-knitting? Because when I search 'how to finger knit' or something, I always get answers for the other way. Thanks :)

  • LOL. Yarn inspector. You know...I think you are right...that is definitely what she considers herself. I can't use any yarn in the house without her inspecting it first!

  • where can I see how you finger-knitted with one finger...??--you go soooo fast and do not show 'how' to get it 'started' ..kwim...????

  • This si an awesome video! I can make an awesome flower JUST like that cause of this video! You are awesome!!!! And whoever finger knited that like teh one who double finger knited everything and all is awesome cause i only know how to finger knit with ALL five of my fingers!! I REALLY WANT TO KNOW HOW WITH ONLY ONE FINGER!

  • iyrenç ötesi hem hiç bişe anlamadım ula bunları türkler yapamıyomuuuuuuu

  • hey, nice video! Can you PLEASE tell me how to finger knit with only ONE finger? I first learned how to do it with five of my fingers!

  • LOL at the people arguing below

    good video though

  • Age 7 is ideal - most kids that age can do this. Sometimes I find kids that are 5 or 6 who can finger-knit and some of them can do the flowers...but that is rare.

  • how old do you think one can begin to do this...i want to teach my niece this would be nice for her teacher. shes in 1st grade but very bright.

  • Finger knitting rules!!!

  • i think this is pretty cute.

i started knitting 3 weeks ago!!

i have never ever heard of finger knitting...so this is a unique~

and no offense....but you MUST stop giving too much food to your cat...it's so unhealthy.

  • how do u start?

  • What yarn did you use? Its a really cool idea also. And it turned out great.

  • i meant awsome and beautiful! lol awsoe beautiful sounds strange!!!! :D

  • thats awsome beautiful!!!

  • hey i was just wondering if u have a video of actualy teaching the knitting as well as the flowers???

  • Uh, duh,,,, doing it with your finger instead of a tool, that would be why the name, "finger knitting" or to make you feel better, "finger crochet". Is there a chance you could just have written, "good job" instead of making a comment on semantics?

  • Crochet is the name of the tool. On this case she are using her finger, so we can name it FINGER KNITTING.

  • I can't crochet (well I'm trying to learn now!!) Where I live this is called finger knitting. I finger knitted balls and balls of the stuff when I was a kid. But I get your point that it produces a chain and not a knitted row.

  • Nop, crochet is a tool. Finger is a tool. Is very very easy to understand.

  • Tell me something, when you eat, you call it eat, no spooning. When you use your finger, like a HOOK, is ok call it finger knitting. I dont pretend to be all right, but i think if i take a video of some activity i like to do, i can call it whathever i like. When you take the video call it croshiting.

  • It's definitely finger knitting.

  • I definitely agree. jaja.

FINGER KNITTING RULES, LET THE DONKEYS BE DONKEYS, IS THE BETTER THEY CAN DO.

  • Tha't because i am part japanese, part apache, part tarahumara, part spanish, part italian, and part french. I know who i am, and i know you are only a little pile of nothing. Please, please PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE BE HAPPY!

  • Chill out, blow your mind, if it make you happy call it crochet, i will not waste my time on you. I never ofend you, you chose to feel ofended. So i forgive you. I'am not traying to know everything, i just express what i think about finger knitting. If you have something to tellme send me a personal message, dont make this WONDERFUL VIDEO a verdulera fight. I will pray very very hard for you have some peace and happines in your crocheting life.

  • very nice! it helped me && my friend!

  • absolutely beautiful!!!!lovely video!i was sooo happy when i found it!!!as ive just started knitting recently and managed to knit a couple of flowers and a little leaf to go with it,but yours are so much nicer and easier to do so cute im going to have to try it out soon!i got my little niece sisters and friends on board too we've started knitting a scarf!!!we've caught the knitting bug!!!thanks for posting the video ;-))

  • I am so glad you liked it. I can imagine a few little girls getting together and really loving this activity! I have a really cute picture of my daughter and her friends doing this somewhere...just can't find it right now...Someone also mentioned attaching the flowers to a scarf as decoration. That is a cool idea!

  • just another qustion....can you make it without the stick so you can put it on a hat or a broach or somthing?

  • i love this video i love how you explain it so smoothly im going to try it right now! keep making videos!!! ill be watching!

  • This is a great project. I love that you used a real stick to keep it all natural. I'm assuming the yarn was wool or cotton. I enjoy your videos a lot!

  • Thank you for being a "fan" - I appreciate the feedback and it is what inspires me to keep making videos :) The yarn is a really thick wool yarn from Ironstone yarns in Las Vegas of all places! I just grabbed it off the shelf. I have about 200 balls of cotton and wool yarn so whatever I use is going to be natural :)Next time I should use some hand-dyed yarn from one of my favorite ETSY vendors or something!
